damn man. i jus got another sunburn today. sick of this cali heat. its hot were i live. man this is the 4th time i got sunburned this month. any suggestions to make it stop?
|
I know this is quite obvious but use the strongest spf sunscreen you can find...as long as you ur skin isn't sensitive...and try to keep a light cotton shirt on at all times...and walk in the shade. Also walk around with a cap on backwards for neck protection...
Anyways you could just google your problem...I tried it put in "sunburn solutions" Here's a website I found to ease the pain... http://www.ehow.com/how_997_ease-pain-sunburn.html Also try "Sunburn Prevention" I found this... http://my.webmd.com/hw/health_guide_...p?pagenumber=1 Edited By Elena on 1114830364 |

Did you go in the water or something? Maybe you need a different kind of sunscreen or a stronger SPF. Check out the sites...I reccommend the second site because it deals with what you should get...and the different kinds of sunscreen...but u'll have to scroll through the pages. |

OK, well I typed in "Sunburn home remedies" and I got... http://www.mothernature.com/Library/...oks/47/124.cfm[/quote] ah yea. my doctor never failed me. ima try cold water right now. its the only materials i have with me. |
You don't have any of this?
Cornstarch. Add enough water to cornstarch to make a paste, says Fredric Haberman, M.D. Apply directly to the sunburn. Vegetable slices. Some people get relief from thin slices of raw cucumber or potato, he adds. They feel cool and may help reduce inflammation on small areas. Apple slices may also work. Lettuce. A soothing homemade solution comes from New York City skin care specialist Lia Schorr. Boil lettuce leaves in water. Strain, then let the liquid cool several hours in the refrigerator. Dip cotton balls into the liquid and gently press or stroke onto irritated skin. Yogurt. Plain yogurt is both cooling and soothing, she says. Apply to all sunburned areas. Rinse off in a cool shower, then gently pat skin dry. Tea bags. If your eyelids are burned, apply tea bags soaked in cool water to decrease swelling and help relief pain, says Schorr. |
yea but i like the idea of cold water more
