Tacq Allegoed was running atop buildings and leaping from roof-to-roof. He was camouflaged with the midnight sky. His hair, bright like a shooting star. His momentum kept gaining, and never decreased. If anyone saw, they would swear that it was a shooting star right infront of their eyes. His shining daggers and knives in his belt wistled in the wind as he flew by. Finally, he came to his destination. A small deserted building, next to a pub inhabbited by a clan of thieves and murderers. Crouching atop the building, he gazed through the window of the tavern. His mission: Evacuate the evil clan from the building. He looked to the surroundings of the building to see his partners ready to go. Tacq belonged to a clan of his own. While the head of the clan was away, Tacq was incharge. The clan was called "Seraphim's Calling." Tacq rose to his feet, and motioned to jump down, into the bar. He landed in the window, softly and soundless. The evil clan, "Skull Dusect", couldn't have noticed because the minute Tacq landed, he was already gone, deeper inside of the room. Seraphim's Calling was patiently waiting outside, waiting for the signal. Tacq snuck up and grabbed a glass. He threw it out of the window and let it shatter. That was the signal. SC rushed through the building, swords drawn. The cling and clatter of crashing blades rung through the air as a raging battle took place. Tacq was all over the room at one time. Skull Desect could see their fellow members die here and there for no reason. They would just fall dead and hear a faint wistleing int he breeze just before their eternal sleep. The bar fight continued for about another half of an hour, until the only people standing were the Seraphim's Calling.
The young leader just stood there, breathing as heavily as pssible. The victorious silence was soon broken by an evenly victorious cry. The clan was triumphant. Tacq sat down with a smile on his face, watching those under him rejoice.
Soldier," Do you realy think we did it sir?!"
Soldier2," Yeah! Did we defeat the clan??"
Tacq's smile soon faded.
Well... I think that Skull Dusect is a much larger clan than this. They are all over the world, but we succeded in getting out of our area of the world we live in.
When the "party" was over, Tacq went around the room to round up his knives.
The group left the building and saw a light in the distance.
Soldier3," Look! The sunrise!"
Soldier5," Wow... it's so beautiful."
Wait... that is not the sunrise!
Soldier," Huh? What're ya talking about?!"
The sun doesn't rise in that direction... plus, it is too early for it to arise.
The once victorious clan stood there in a worried awe. They... they just didn't understand.

Tacq and the group were standing around clueless as to what to do. They were in formation just incase the "so called leader of Skull Dusect" arrived for another visit.
And then, something whistled in Tacq's ear. It was a distant sound, but it was a horrid sound. It was the sound of ddeathly monsters crying and killing, it was the sound of inocence being shattered and lives being taken. It was the sound . . . of death.
Whut thuh! Men, move out!
The group divided and ran towards the center of the city. What the saw was fear striking. Monsters all over! There was barely room enough to breathe. The monsters covered the part of the city like a purple/green/red blanket.
Okay... we're gonna need some help here. We must retreat!
Soldier4," But, sir! We have never run from a fight!"
I . . . I'm sorry.
Soldier," No! What about the people being killed! Wwe msut help them!"
Don't you think we would be of better help ALIVE?! WE MUST LEAVE!!!

Before the man named Liger Zero was able to shoot one bullet, a girl jumped out of no where and knocked him out with a swift punch to the head. She looked at everyone who screamed and sighed in despair. She brushed her long green hair back and revealed her large green eyes. Her clothing was very strange, and she was pretty outcast. She walked up to Tacq and his group, but they cautiously put up their weapons and aimed at her. Tacq, however, spoke finally....
Tacq: "Who are you? What are you doing here? And WHY are you dressed like that?"
Girl: "Oh how rude. Oh well, in this order: Mizuki, visiting, and because it's comfy!"
Mizuki: "It seems you can use some help with this group... could I tag along, and assist you?"

Mizuki sees Liger's twin brother on the rampage again. She decides to kill him with her special attack...

When the attack hits Liger's twin brother, he falls face forward on the ground, with a hole in his body. The soldiers lifted their weapons at Mizuki. She looked at them, and one eyebrow lifted up.

She was raised in a hotel, where she taught herself to use the magic to help her have fun. She did childish things, like make a house out of energy, and so on. But then the kings soldiers came and her family was killed. Mizuki was forced to live alone in hiding, since the murderers were coming after her to destroy her. She eventually learned to fight using magic, and became a fearsome fighter who would kill only those who tried to kill others. She now hopes to join Tacq's group. Will he accept her?

Tacq looked around as the MONSTERS lifted their WEAPONS towards the mysterious young girl. The monsters lept onto the roof top she was standing on and surrounded her. One monster of the group made a step toward The frightenned girl. There were too many monsters; no chance to escape. The monster that stepped towards her took his sword out and began to swing it furiously as a taunt. It charged at the girl and then fell to the ground with a knife in its head. Suddenly, random monsters around her began to fall dead with knives in their bodies. Hesitating, the girl started to shoot at the live monsters with her power over plasma. Despite their attempts, the monsters jsut kept coming and coming and eventually the knives weren't thrown anymore. The girl backed up. She looked to her left and miraculously, Tacq was standing right there, beside her. He could see the fear in her eyes. Tacq got into his battle stance and gave a smirk to the young lady beside him. She grinned and also stood her ground.
Are you ready?
Girl," Bring it on."
The two stood there for a while, gazing at the monsters adn then finally, Tacq arose quickly and threw a knife into the air. At that, Seraphim's Calling surrounded the monsters from both sides and began the slaughter.

My name is Malice and this is my story.........
while being held captive by whats seems to be monsters of some sort, Malice hears a strange sound....the sound of many swords colliding with flesh and bones......Soon Malice's captors leave thier post to investigate...Malice thinks that this is a good time to make his gettaway so he does, Malice channels all of his enerygy ...growling and yellin profusly a gaurd hears his cries and runs to check up on his prisoner......but once he reached his destination he only find a huge beast where the peasant Malice once stood...in raged Malice breaks free of shakles that once held him in bondage....and in a swift movement the gaurd is no more, Malice then reverts back to his human form and walks away from the gaurds dead corps...but because of his fighting spirite he too wants to know what all the comotion is about on the roof tops....so he heads out
from the roof top he watches as many monsters are slain by what appears to be a group of soilders and a young girl........
hmmm....Malice sees that this group is very powerful therefor he watches from afar...
they seem to be in trouble.... i must help them in some way...

The battle was all over the rooftops, and so was blood. The lightning fast movements of Tacq proved yo be not enough to win this battle. Tacq was in despare. Tacq was in deep thought while he was fighting. He was able to fight and think of other things since he was a child.
I can't change over... not now. I'm not sure if I can trust the girl quite yet. Who knows, maybe she's really on their side, maybe she will jsut turn on the group when it's all over. Alas, all I can do now is put my life in her hands and likewise for her. It will work out, Tacq. You'll survive this.
Soon, Tacq heard a cry of a little girl. Concern spread all over his face and he jumped off of the roof to see where this girl is. He looked to his left and he saw a monster brake open a door to a house and also, in that same direction, he could hear an innocent scream. In less than no time, the monster was face first on the ground with Tacq, standing boldly on the creature's back. Tacq looked around and saw monsters running toward this building in all directions. He hesitated then looked at the little girl. Her eyes were like windows into her soul, as wide open as they can possibly be. The look on ehr face melted Tacq's heart. He thrusted his hands towards her in a firm stance and threw his head back. Swinging his head back forward he stared straight into her eyes, digging deep, deep, deep, until, in a flash, she dissapeared. Tacq smirked then practically teleported back to the rooftops and immediately started fighting the instant he got there.
This doesn't look good.
Mizuki," AHHHHHHH!!"
Mizuki's scream caught Tacq off-guard and hee looked to see her. She was being overpowered. This distracted Tacq and a monster knocked him down.
The battle was taking a turn for the worst...

Mizuki looked around for Tacq (as she attacked with her Kyokuenmai), and didn't see any sign of him. She looked all around her, but only saw the monsters. Then she and Zegar turned around and looked at where the sound came from. They began to run in that direction, but were stopped by more monsters. Things were getting bad... but Mizuki got an idea.

Mizuki: "Hey, mister, could you take care of these monsters alone for a while?"
Zegar: "Call me Zegar, and yes, it should be a simple job to hold them back."
Mizuki: "Good. Because I am going to that building."
Zegar: "You'll do that... how?"
Mizuki: "I'm just very magical... let's leave it at that, ok?"

Zegar didn't argue. He saw what she could do before, and accepted it. But he still didn't see how Mizuki was going to get to that building alone. He got his boomerang blade ready to fight with. Suddenly, Mizuki just... disappeared. http://www.boomspeed.com/roll/Teleport.gif She reappeared inside the building where Tacq was in the far corner, unconcious, just about to be killed by a monster. But Mizuki summoned some more of her abilities just in time...

She only stunned the monster, for it was so large and scary. She quickly ran to Tacq and shook him, and, in a desperation attempt to wake him up, slapped Tacq. The monster was getting up slowly, and was surely going to kill them if they didn't hurry. Mizuki knew she wasn't strong enough to destroy it alone at her current level, and who KNOWS how the battle was going on with Zegar.

[ooc] I am very tired, my eye is in pain, the moogle hunting thread can't hold my post for the epilogue, and I am going to sleep. Oh and in the Kenmaikyaku attack, disregard the hopping thing that's being attacked. It's just there to show what happens to it. Also, Mizuki can't take others with her in her teleports... [/ooc]

Tacq's eyes openned slowly. Everything was blurry to him. All he could see was a gian purple figure ready to pounce on him. He could see Mizuki right beside him staring at the monster. Eventually, common sense found it's way to Tacq's mind. Just then, the monster lept in their direction. The monster thought Tacq was out cold, so it was fixed on Mizuki. The charging beast had it's claw reached out, ready to pierce through Mizuki's heart.
NO!
Tacq pushed Mizuki out of the way. Tacq soon felt the stinging, burning pain of his stomach being peirced by the monsters claw. His eyes open wide and his jaw fell. All his power left his body that instant. He looked up at Mizuki with dieing eyes then looked out the window. He could see his comrads being overpowered by the evil creatures. The demon lifted Tacq over his head. Fumbling, Tacq unseethed his dagger and jammed it into the monsters head. The monster let out a deafenning cry as it fell to the floor. The landing was rough for Tacq; pain overwhelmed his body. Other monsters heard this cry and jumped into the little house. Tacq summoned every ounce of strenght he had left.
RRRRAAAAAAGH!!!!
A light emitted from Tacq's body and in a flash everyone besides the monsters reapeared at a new location, even the one watching the group and the valiant member of Skull Dusect.
Is... is everyone safe?. . . ugh.....

Mizuki looked at Tacq's body horrified. So did everyone else. Mizuki finally gathered enough courage to go and pick up Tacq, and carry him around. As everyone stood around, mourning the probable loss of their leader, Zegar just stood around looking at the battle field muttering something. Mizuki disregarded this, and kept her priority on trying to help Tacq. She looked at her surroundings. She found nothing but trees, mushrooms, and birds. None of that was going to help Tacq, and Mizuki could only wonder what she could do without the proper items. She looked around and found a strange green plant. She went over to it to examine it and found it to be a Gypsy Herb. After placing Tacq on the ground, she took the herb and the other ones that she found nearby. She had 3 Gypsy Herbs, and needed four other items. Mizuki finally went to Zegar and the soldiers.

Mizuki: "Everyone, Tacq is not dead..."
At this everyone cheered.
Mizuki: "But..."
Everyone fell silent.
Mizuki: "He will die soon if we cannot gather the right items needed for the spell I need to use. If I don't find or get those items soon Tacq will have no hope of survival."
Soldier: "What do you need then?"
Mizuki: "Well, I have the Gypsy herbs, but I need Imbricate herbs, Jambalaya herbs, and the Pendant of Firsts."
Soldier: "You must be kidding? We don't know where to find those items, let alone know what they look like..."
Zegar: "I'll go."
Mizuki looked at Zegar: "Are you sure you know what they look like?"
Zegar: "Yes, the Imbricate herbs are reddish, the Jambalaya herb is blue, and the Pendant of Firsts is a stone mythically placed in the Forest of Solitude, which we are currently in, and has the carving of a Sun. I will go after them straight away."
Mizuki: "(How did Zegar...)Ok then! Go! Please hurry though, as Tacq doesn't have much time!"

Mizuki looked around for a chance to escape. There was no way except through Duraga. Mizuki stared at Tacq wondering how she was going to get him out of the area. She finally made up her mind, and got up.

Mizuki: "I don't even know who this Zegar is, let alone where he is. Now if you'll excuse me, I have an injured man to take care of, and no stupid beast with a skull imprint is going to stop me from helping him."

Mizuki picked up Tacq, and started to walk away. Then, she saw a huge monster leap at her when she went farther than ten feet. She immediately ran back, and looked at Duraga.

Mizuki: "You put him there, didn't you?"
Duraga: " Tell me where he is, and that monster will leave you alone."
Mizuki: "How many times MUST I tell you, that I don't know who that man IS!"
Duraga: "As many times as you wish. I will not be leaving you until you tell me."
Mizuki: "Don't leave then. You've got your wish to stay with us, and I am not one to stop you. Just don't expect me to talk much. I am taking care of the injured man, as you can see."

Duraga snorted. He didn't see how anyone could care for anyone else but themselves. Mizuki just walked away, and lay Tacq on a bed of soft leaves. Mizuki took one of the Gypsy herbs, crushed them into a fine powder, and patted it onto the wound. Mizuki looked at Tacq as he groaned in pain. She continued to look at his wound, and watched the bleeding stop. She had increased Tacq's life span, but he was still in danger of dying, and without the other herbs and the pendant, there was no hope of bringing Tacq to perfect health. She looked at one of the soldiers, and signaled for them to come over. She crushed the second gypsy herb, and told the soldier to put it on the wound IF she was not back in 2 hours. In two hours, Tacq would need the powdered gypsy herb to be used, otherwise he would perish. Finally, after giving the soldier instructions not to leave Tacq alone, Mizuki started on her way through the forest. Daruga watched her and began thinking something different that never in his life crossed his mind about someone else. He finally got up and followed Mizuki closely behind as she went deeper and deeper into the forest in one specific direction...

[ooc] If you couldn't tell by now, I am heading after the herbs and pendant. But since Zegar has the herbs, I can only get the pendant, which is in a stone on top of a mountain. Zegar still has to escape, Karma! ^-^ [/ooc]

*look around to find the monster, but the monster isn't around !*
ZEGAR:"now is my chance, hope he won't comeback soon !"
*start trying to get free by reaching that rock shard on his left, Zegar swings the rope left and right*
*afetr a while, he throws himself forward to the rock shard and grab onto it with his two tied hand !*
*at this exact moment the monster came in the cavern !*
ZEGAR:"damn it, what should i do ?"
*the monster looks at ZEGAR and rush to him*

*ZEGAR let go off the rock shard at the very last moment, his blade has only cutted his bond off and now the blade was following ZEGAR has he was swinging in circle.*
ZEGAR:"now you'll pay !"
*the monster was looking at zegar but it didn't take long before the monster started to go to ZEGAR again !*
*ZEGAR blade finally reached ZEGAR and zegar took it in hand and swinged it at the neck of the monster !*
*the monster's head fell on the ground, followed by the monster body !*
ZEGAR:"now to free me up entirely !"
*he swing his sword up and cutted down the rope tied to his feets ! zegar fell on the ground rudely !*
ZEGAR (looking at the monster):"now stay there !"
*and zegar took everythings back and started to walk towards the mountain again !*

Mizuki continued on her way down the forest, and in about 20 minutes came to a swamp, that stretched to far to go around, so Mizuki crossed the swamp by hopping on logs. Wehn she got across, she continued once again, and came into a beautiful part of the forest. It was filled with light from the sun, and the light shone deeply on a large spot filled with flowers, as well as a small stream that moved in the opposite direction Mizuki was going. After resting for about 5 minutes (about 35 minutes since the last time Tacq got the gypsy herb applied to him), Mizuki continued on, and began wondering if she would make it in time. She looked around as she went, and found a few more gypsy herbs. She picked them and put them in the belt of her robes. She continued finally to a very large hole. She looked around the hole and found no way around it that wouldn't take about 20 to get to. Mizuki look up and all around for something to help her, but only saw trees. Using her only option, Mizuki climbed up a tall tree, started to run on it, and jumped. She jumped all the way to the other side of the hole, but not without losing something. One of her herbs fell down the hole. She watched it fall for about a minute, and continued on to a small cave. After making some sort of torch, Mizuki ventured inside the cave. Carefully, she walked around, and looked at the inside. She stopped at several pictures of a Man a Cow and a Sun. Two of the pictures involved a man being gored by a cow. Eventually, a strange looking man was in the next few pictures with his hand on the gored man's body. Mizuki continued on, while looking at the pictures. The next one shad shown the strange man with a stone in his hand. It was smaller then his palm, but it looked sacred in a way. Mizuki pondered about it, but stopped when she saw the next picture. It featured the strange man holding the stone to himself, with his mouth wide open, and the sun was sending down something towards him. It looked like little dots in the picture. After looking at those pictures, Mizuki continued on until she reached the end of the cave. She looked around and found one last picture. It featured the normal man getting up, and the strange man holding the stone. From the hand with the stone in it, there was an arrow leading to a larger picture of a sun. Mizuki looked at the arrow, then at the larger picture, and touched it. She suddenly jumped backwards though, when the picture fell out as a circular object. Mizuki picked it up and suddenly saw markings on the wall. They were very strange yet, somehow, Mizuki was reading them like it was natural. Her eyes were blank as she read the markings to herself. It was as if she didn't know what she was doing. She finally began reading it aloud (in english), as if saying it to someone:

On a starless night
so many years ago
you pulled me deep inside
with a single kiss.
I was just a child
still frightened by the dark
hiding in a corner
nursing a wounded heart

I was broken
and so pathetic
just a willing victim
for your black magic

You walked away
and left me there to die
with my heart still beating
and my blood still boiling.

mizuki:"i really don't know where he is ! all i know is that he is in this forest !"

*in a quick motion DURAGA turn around to face his enemy*

[ooc] Why did it have to be today..?[/ooc]

Mizuki began to sprint as fast as she could(35 miles per hour), all because she heard the words: "My men will attack in 20 minutes!". She kept racing back to the camp spot, and she saw the hole. It had only been one minute! She ran at the hole and jumped. She was about half way across when she began to fall. She quickly teleported over to the other sides ledge, climbed up, and began running as fast as she could again. She ran through the forest, and through that special area. She continued her dash towards Tacq, after getting some water from the area. A few monsters showed up along the way, but Mizuki just ran past them as they swung at her. She was hit about 3 times, and was sort of limping. She continued to run at her top speed (Now 30 mph) and hopped from log to log in the swamp. When Mizuki reached the other side, she raced towards the spot, and took a quick look at the sun. It had already been 15 minutes. She was afraid she wasn't going to make it, and started to run faster, and the faster she ran, the more it taxed on her vitality. She was now at 40 mph and still rising. Her plasma manipulation was greatly enhancing her speed, and she continued on her way. It was about 19 minutes since she left, when she finally saw Tacq. She was running up to him......and she tripped. She began rolling, and she stopped face down directly in front of Tacq's body. She got up again, breathing shallowly, and took his pulse while looking around and preparing the ingredients. Tacq was all alone, but the Soldier promised to no leave him alone. She finally found a pulse and it was racing. She began crushing the herbs, and then she mixed them together.
"RRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRR!!!"
Mizuki looked around, only to see a horrible monster storming at her. She recognized it as the monster that tried to kill her before. She picked up the ingredients, and rubbed them into Tacq's wound, then she picked him up (and her arms began to gain major pain), and ran off at top speed (which made her legs gain major pain). She was wearing the pendant, and began chanting:
Born of water
Cleansing, powerful
Healing, changing
We are

As she chanted this, Tacq's body began to mend the wound. The wound was closing, and going back to normal, and Mizuki continued running and chanting. In about 20 seconds, Tacq's body was healed, the pendant was glowing and changing shape, and Mizuki tripped again. The impact of the fall caused Tacq to wake up. He looked at himself, and saw that his wound was gone! He couldn't believe it.... It had be an illusion! He poked at his stomach a few times, and realizing he was healed, he rejoiced, and jumped up. But when he arose, he looked around only to see Mizuki on the ground unconcious, cut up, bleeding, and breathing shallowly. He also saw the monster coming ever closer to her; it was moving slowly, taking one step at a time, knowing all to well that it's prey was an easy target...

Tacq got up and saw the monster slowly aproaching. He looked once more at Mizuki and kneeled down beside her. He would have to help her out after he defeated the monster. Tacq got to his feet and the monster immediatly felt a small peircing pain in his left shoulder. WHen it looked, it saw a knife deeply lodged inside. Anger rose in the demon's body and it let out a scream and charged at Tacq. The demon jabbed into the air where Tacq was standing, but found there was nothing there. Confusion circled around the being and then it felt another sharp peircing pain in it's back. Another knife. iT looked behing him and saw Tacq standing about fifteen yards back. The demon let out a roar and charged once more. He fixed his focus on Tacq, but again, Tacq excaped the monster's sight. The creature stopped abruptly. The monster felt another sharp pain. He looked back and caught a glimps of Tacq, but Tacq faded as soon as he was seen. Another knife entered the demon's body. And another, and another. The pain was beginning to get to the creature. Again and again Tacq was dashing around and throwing knives at the enemy. Jumping off of trees, rolling on the ground, hiding, and dashing, teleporting, and leaping, Tacq was all over the place. The demon broke down and fell on it's knees in pain. This was time. Tacq dashed towards it and kicked it in the back with full force. The power of the blow caused the monster's back to crack in two. The beast flew theough the air and smacked into a tree head first, crushing it's neck. Tacq went over and picked up his daggers. Quickly, Tacq was right by Mizuki's side.
Mizuki! You alright?! Mizuki!
Her body lay still without movement or any sign of life. Tacq gently picked her up and climbed up a very tall tree. The light of the sun could reach them now since there was nothing to block it. Tacq set Mizuki down and lifted his hands toward the sky. Great concetration fell over Tacq as he gazed into the sun. He shut his eyes and made a deep groaning sound. This sound got louder and louder and eventually formed into a shout. Tacq's body floated into the air and he still had his hands raised. Spheres of light zoomed into Tacq's hands and his open fists began to glow. Tacq stopped flpating and kneeled down over Mizuki. He toucheed her with his hands and all of the light was absorbed into Mizuki's body. Her eyes shot open in that instant.
Mizuki?

*the fight would have been longer if it weren't for the CRUMBLING ceiling !*

*and the cave crumbled on DURAGA ! was he dead ? ZEGAR knew that DURAGA wouldn't be killed by that !*
