What is the easiest way to beat the Spider Boss? The one that shoots flames and if your caught sucks energy from you like mad. I need help!

am stuck at the very same place !
i figured out that his mouth was the weakpoint.
at least when it fires his flames.

but dodging it is very difficult.
found out that rolling around was a good way to be faster, but still.
founded that jumping above the spider was too risky too, but worked sometimes.
i don't use cheats but man, is that boss tough or what !
i just seems to get picked all the time, and i have no way to get out of his grasp once it got you !

anyone, who can give me feedback of what they did to kill that thing, is welcome !

Well um....I'm 2% through the game...Just got my energy ball back and my charger is almost in my grasps!

if u mean the eyeball guy on the wall who stands and he opens hes eye to shoot well when he opens hes eye shoot a misstle or two well as much as u could

Jeez I just got it at christmas, but have had no time to play it...and apparently it is hard ???

Got past spider. When he comes at you just morph into your power ball to be smaller to avoid getting health taken away. When he opens his mouth start shooting rockets into him like mad. When his head starts jumpping around after that your on your own.

BAD THING after that you have to find where the roots are coming from... your clone is waiting for you in the area where you enter to find the problem... I have 800 energy and a Varia suit and it still takes her only 4 or 5 shots to kill me! I got past her once all the way to the end of the chambers and by what I saw its a friggin dead end.

I did this after dropping a power bomb when entering the hatch there. Its impossible to get past her and if you do by what I saw its a dead end. If anyone knows how to get past I can really use this imformation!

Juggernaut: I'll check my cartridge tonight. I'm bored and can't sleep, so I might as well log some Metroid hours and check on this. Already beat it, but that was almost a month ago so I can't remember exactly what to do.

now, about the big spider, rolling doesn't work all the time... and i tried fighting back the SA-X while i was against her before the VARIA suit ! it is damn too difficult and i don't know if i'll be able to fight it on again even with all the things at max, like i have already !

the giant spider is just too kicking my ass everytimes and like it weren't enought, it kills you in 2 stupid hits !

I didn't get there in time to post strategies last night, but I can tell you stuff about the spider that I can remember from back then. The spider can't kill you in two hits. It also depends on if he grabs you, or you are just hit.

Lol got past my clone! Those ice missles will freeze her for a few seconds and give you some time to get away. If she follows just keep shooting her. Right at the last hatch there roots going down: Use a power bomb and they should disappear, get down there quickly! The next boss you'll be encountering (when your ready) is a pain. Do not fall into his minions mouths or they'll suck your health up. Stand on the post cloest to the boss and lay a power bomb, then keep shooting him with ice missles. Keep repeating till the bosses shell comes off and he'll start to attack. Try launching 2 missles then jump to avoid his shot (or what you find best.) When his X-Core comes out keep using power bombs or missles (I don't remember if the missles work or not) but your definetly going to need to shoot the core for health. When you beat him you get Plasma Shots. Go to the Nav. Computer and just do as your told (and if you need to recharge & save do it.) After everything you go through your going to battle the Military Droid. And I have yet to beat him because of the gravity manipulation. You have to kill his gravity produceing machine thats on him. And I think if you beat him you get the Gravity Suit. The reason: He manipulates gravity what else? Wouldn't you agree? :laughlong:

Oh, I thought you had already gotten past the SA-X at that point. That's what it sounded like. You don't NEED to freeze SA-X to get by there. If you drop down while SA-X has her back turned, you will get a few extra seconds while SA-X reacts. After that, just be REALLY fast.

Also, that boss is a pain, but repetition can beat it. After losing to it 3 times (fell into the pods down below), I figured out how to win, and I beat it with 4 energy tanks remaining.

Hey I'm moving onto Ridley next. Right now i'm trying to find the escape route to get away from my clone, and I got the info that theres currently 10 SA-X's on the station. So I really want to get outta there!

To get rid of Riddley just keep missleing him when he grabs you just keephiting him untill he drops you and careful with the tail that things a real pain but just consecutively fire missles at him and you're home free. But I have one question I'm stuck on the final boss on the way to alter the path of the spacestation you have to fight the SA-X with no escape I can find no way at all to beat that demon from hades so if anyone has the time please help thank you. Also I've found a way from one to area toanother other than the elevators once you have the gravitysuit and Screw attack.

i must say i knew that you stay in the cornners, he hardly gets you and shouldnt becuase if he could ,and he can but i'm speak as all the time, you would die like that *snaps* god that was gay..... but i still cant beat him, i killed him once but now i always die. oh and i only read the first page. by the way, who thinks the um... not long.... not wave... well that beam that you have at the time when you face the spider is a good thing or a bad one?
