after someone challenges me. Then it takes me to the character page I will go on ryu and try to pick hulk and it wont even let me have ryu until the end of the countdown. And it picks my partner at random. And sometimes i chose ryu and it gives me someone else. Does anyone else have this problem?

Elena, yes, it's a well known bug..

So far, the only way we can fix this is, by hosting/joining a game, and then having a 1on1 match...

Yeah, i have this problem too....but i dont consider it a big deal, unless it picks Spiral...

lol I always get spiral or venom when that happens

I have close to the same problem. Whenever I pick ryu it freezes. Then if i pick another character it freezes when i get to the game.

If you're using the downloadable version you have now, then you have to upgrade. If you did that already, then you should try the online version.
If you're using the online version, then you should re-download/upgrade Shockwave, clear your cache, and restart your computer.

If yer using the downloadable version and you HAVE upgraded it, but you put the "d"(latest) into a different folder from "c", then you should move all of the other files from "c" into "d".

I also had that problem but I figured it out quick...

If that's not the case, then don't do what I had just said.

Yeah roll just cleared that up for me in another topic. I actually was opening the c files instead of the d. so what I did was i just clicked on upgrade instead of download and it worked.

the ONLY file that changes from one version to the next (so far... this will change on the 25th when cSpiderman.cct will be added to the game) is XvsSF.exe ... all the other files remain the same...

so, for example... if u have an older version of the game and want to upgrade, just "extract" the xvssf06d.exe into the location of u'r old XvsSF.exe ... overide all files.. and... u'r done :biggrin:

Yeah, but TMy, it's more organizing that way...
