I've always wondered what the symbol that appears under one's health bar means after someone wins a game.

P-perfect (obviously)
cherry- no clue
L- no clue

There are many others. Can anyone explain what other symbols there are and what they mean?

S= Death by Super
P= Perfect victory
L= LAG win
V= Victory
Cherries= Good moves man...nice fighting style.
Lasso= Death by helper
Clock= Time expired
Cheese= You won...but fought realy cheesy

Actualy..I remeber WAY back when...reading a topic posted by TMyApp about victory icons.
there have actualy been many many topic created about victory icons...and the answers are always the same :D

o...yes well WAY back I strictly played the game, I had no clue what a forum was so I didn't bother to click on it. Then there was that whole "clan craze" so i joined the forums. That was back in April.

you also get cheese if your oponent blcks the final blow that you give him like in sfa series

it means you won by variable attack

L=Lagg win, I have never seen that one...but I agree with the rest.

Chesse=This happens when your enemy is blocking and you finish he/her while there guarding....this is considered cheap...so you get a piece of chesse for being cheap...

yep.. TarkanX was right about "cherries" and the rest of u were right about cheese (ie: death by blocking)

last few corrections:

II = death by crossover
infinity = death by variable

one unanswered question...there are 2 different "P"s, one of them straiht, the other wavy....explain

No not really. I call it killing someone while they are blocking.
And i always thought cheesy was when they kept doing the same move over and over again but i geuss i was wrong.

That symbol is not a letter P, it is a lasso.

A lasso means you killed your opponent by way of a helper.
