ive been around when there was only one stage, character, and background music does that make me a vet?

Selvin 01-12-2002 05:07 PM

You are a Vet if you came in August. (You came in September so you ain't a Vet.

01-12-2002 05:10 PM

ahhhh....why august? it was still the same in september

Selvin 01-12-2002 05:12 PM

Because it started in August.

PROfessor 01-12-2002 06:54 PM

To be cosidered a vet of this game or the "real" game... and Selvin I think you have written the most post. Dam man find something to do.

Nferno666 01-12-2002 07:12 PM

so i'm not a vet selvin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i must be a pretty good ass newbie then!
lol

Dan Hibiki 01-12-2002 07:35 PM

It'd be better if a user has been active for a certain number of months until he/she is considered a veteran (that's just a lot more fair, makes for more veterans in the future, rather than the current trend of less). Judging by how August is right now the veteran time, how about... five months to be a vet?

<span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'>Dan waits patiently, knowing that he has absolutely no life and if his answer, is, well, answered positively, he can be a vet eventually.</span>

Nferno666 01-13-2002 02:30 AM

selvin u registered 7 days before i did so If u call ur self a vet what the #### am i then?????

nosoul4evr 01-13-2002 03:50 AM

hmm good question....i think a good way to resolve who's a vet would be in percentages....if a player has been here longer than 80% of the games life span...then he or she is a Veteran...any one who's been here more than 90% of the games life span might be considered a "Super Veteran" (or mucho loco  ) and i guess that would be the fairest way to decide who's a veteran and who isnt....(if any one can think of a more accurate way of defining a Vet please post it here)

winged epyon 01-13-2002 10:12 AM

i guess im a vet then, i was here sept 4

oO_HoTSauCeOo 01-13-2002 10:19 AM

I been here since august too. But I didn't register for the forumns until december. what does that make me?

nosoul4evr 01-13-2002 10:27 AM

well since there is no other way to tell how long some one has been with the group except by their forum join date...that would unfortunatly place you as a noob.
But you know the real truth so i guess it wouldnt matter what others thought...you'd just have a hard time convincing people other wise with out some known Vets vouching for you.

oO_HoTSauCeOo 01-13-2002 10:32 AM

Oh well, I can live with being a noob, after Noobs are cool. heh heh

Selvin 01-13-2002 10:32 AM

JB is a n00b and you can't tell me he is cool

oO_HoTSauCeOo 01-13-2002 10:36 AM

He's cool(just kidding)

Me and wing eponya has been here since Sep he is two day's older than me i think that makes us vet's

01-13-2002 07:28 PM

nope i was here on sep too and selvin says im not a vet

Dan Hibiki 01-13-2002 07:32 PM

Well, according to nosoul4evr's idea of being around for 80% of the game's life span...

<span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'>Dan does some number crunching.</span>

You should be a veteran. Currently, you need to have been around for 4.8 months to be considered a veteran, and seeing as you joined in September, it makes sense. Then again, people aren't forced to conform to this idea...

KidKrazyShit 01-13-2002 07:53 PM

Does it matter to anyone if your a Noob or a Vet

Dan Hibiki 01-13-2002 07:56 PM

The thing that matters is the respect (or lack of respect) that comes with the title. Newbies are generally looked down upon, and vets are looked up to. It is a general idea of popularity based on seniority.

Jr 01-13-2002 07:57 PM

yep

Quass 01-13-2002 09:14 PM

Well.. I'm definately not a vet... but I guess I still have some seniority.. wouldn't you say guys? :)

AXE 01-14-2002 05:08 PM

Well if wer not vets than what are we TELL ME!!!
