Since the play mechanics atm are just a mash fest, Wolverine will murder Ryu when he comes out. I think there will be some major balance issues that will need to be fixed.

Heh well if you think it's just a mash fest right now, you havn't been playing the right people!

Wolverine may or may not be good, in my opinion he may be worse, because he has no projectile attack, and so far you can't normal jump ryu's fireball, so I'm eager to see how Wovlie will handle himself, and maybe we will be treated to another background and music ;)

Yes, balance will be an issue. In fact, I think Wolverine will have to be crippled in some way for the sake of the game :(

Logan CAN jump over the fireball (because he takes up less space while in the air). However, Ryu can do the same right now, just block as soon as you get in the air (then again, you probably know that already).

Wolverine is real fast, so unless he is tweaked in some way (which he will be), as soon as you get up close, Ryu will be dead. :(

And yes, there WILL be a new background, AND new music to go with Logan. No doubt in that. :biggrin:

Are you going to put in "Berserker Rage"?

Brainded I am sorry but since putting in more then 2 supers will unbalance a player. Wolverine has these supers: Berserker Barrage X, Weapon X, Fatal Claw and Berserker Charge. If tmyapp gave them all 4 it would unbalance the game. Uh no, uh no, wolverine will be unbalanced even though he has those moves in Marvel vs. Capcom 2. It is okay to have Iceman, but not to have an uppercut super. Uh no, uh no, I truly see where tmyapp is coming from. Wait a minute, no I don't!

Well this is rouglty more based on XMvsST and not MvC2, and he doesn't have all 4 in that version.

Ryu has a super form of all his special moves.

It is true, but here variety is not choose able. It is like using a 56k. Your connection isn't fast and you're screwed. See here at Project X we strive to give only 2 supers so when it comes to the likes of Akuma with 4 supers he will only get one.

If we're going to give everyone only 2 supers, Akuma might as well have only the "Shun Goku Satsu" and "Tenma Gou Zankuu". These are the only supers he has that don't resemble anything Ryu and Ken has Done before.

Mesatsu Gou Hadou = Shinkuu Hadoken
Mesatsu Gou Shoryuu = Shoryuu Reppa

Give Wolverine Berserker Barage and Fatal Claw.

I'd rather have "Weapon-X" than "Fatal Claw"... but that's just me :)

Berserker Barrage and Weapon X are both practicaly
the same.In both he charges at them while slashing with his claws.I also like weapon X better than Fatal Claw but you need variety.

I just wanted to point out that there's a miniature "Fatal Claw" at the end of "Weapon-X".

raz how you figure Wepon x and baserker barrage are the same?

beserker is a flurry of slashes where as wepon x is used to inflict alot of pain because he can dodge with that first dash and then it is considered a throw special

also i agree with another point logan is at a disadvantage from afar because he has ho projectile, but if he is able to get close if you are skilled enough you will anialate from close range

also just a side question will gambit be in soon and when is wolverrine saposed to be done?

i say make logan/wolvy cool and no one will complain!!!
