DSP is already sponsored. but to answer the question: someone who is willing to aid the community in the best way they know how. However the sponsorship contest has it's obvious faults.

The faults being that no one knows if this individual will abuse thier vip status. It's a shame there are so many vips out today; in fact I believe in order for one to become vip they should earn it (ie. a contest much like yours). However, only five vips would be chosen a year. I just feel there are too many youngn's who don't know what it entails to be a vip.

Ok, before I close this thread I'm going to say a few things.

This whole "sponsering me and my friends" thing is getting way out of control. I for one think sponsering should be eliminated altogether, but unfortunately the right ppl do not agree with me.

The purpose of the VIPship was to be given out as a thank you, our appreciation, for the cash donation to SFO.

....then ppl started being sponsered at random. I can understand being sponsered if you won a tournament or something. At least then you did something to earn it.

Don't even get me started on this VIP contest some guy has started. That's the biggest pile of BS I've ever heard. I mean, seriously, getting sponsered b/c you simply "signed up" then BSed your way through some reasons why you think you should become a VIP. ATTENTION: NO ONE DESERVES TO BE A VIP. You simply become one if you're kind enough to make a cash donation to SFO.

You don't "deserve" to be a VIP if you're "loyal to the community" or "spend hours playing the game and posting at the forum" or "do your best to help out the community" blah blah blah. That's not how it works.

I never really had a problem with it untill recently. Viper used to sponser a few ppl once in a while. That was ok. He didn't go ape $hit and sponser any joe blow. but now I go into the game or read the forums and anyone with a user name is a VIP....scratch that....Sponsered VIP. Sometimes in the servers I'll ask someone who sponsered them and litterally, half the time they say "oh I don't know, some guy"....=/. It used to be a privilage to be any kind of VIP. It used to be something very few had. but now all you have to do is give your user name to someone and you could get all the VIP perks for nothing?! YOU GOTTA BE KIDDIN' ME!!!!!
