i emailed marvel, heres what i had to say...

Dear Sir,

Good day. By now, you probably must have received loads of emails concerning the recent shut down of Xmen Vs Street Fighter online. It only proves that so many youth enjoyed playing this online multiplayer site.

As you know, the site was run "free of charge" by the creator of the site know only to us by TMyApp.

He created this site in hopes of giving us the most exciting, fun and challenging site in the online multiplaying industry. Many youth from different walks of life and from different corners of the world spend their time playing and enjoying the site because most of them are long time afficianados of Marvel and Street Fighter.

And unknownst to many that through this site it promoted THE ANTI DRUG CAMPAIGN and developed some of the most important values like sportsmanship, friendship and good team play/strategy. It helped most of us to keep the youth off the street and to bad vices.

I know Sir that youre only doing your job as part of the ever succesful Marvel company and we hold no ill feelings towards/against you. And let me also inform you that the creator of this site TMyApp didnt make any income using your copyrights. The donations that he received from us were out of PURE will/voluntary way. He did it out of ALSO him being an avid Marvel fan and inspiration to give us good moral values in the site as I have mentioned above.

Please kindly consider our petition to bring our most beloved site. Its been running for almost a year now and many people have grown old playing this wonderful site.

i find it effective to give a subtle approach rather than start bitchin a guy who can sue my entire lineage :biggrin:

he he he, i just copied and pasted that as my second email to marvel but my first one was way better and had better spelling no offence! but you spelled your wrong you spelled it like this youre....lol again! no offence! anywayz everone email marvel right now! to get the site back up and running ebard@marvel.com

I think in the corner of the site it clearly states
"all characters belong to capcom and marvel respectivly so please forget the whole thing ever happened and let tmyapps dream be revived.

its been almost 2 years not one !

it started august 7, 2001
that mean that in about a month and less, it will make 2 years of going !

its even worst to say two year then 1 !

i got mailback from marvel come check it out i think with a lot of good replys hell see some of the peps he hurtin so come reply :D

my mom must have deleat or whatever since we share the account besides i wouldent say ur noisy if u asked but what puzzles me is why would he do it to me and not tmyapp also i nevr learned how to make a link to mail yet sry but hey it could have been from a fake company or somethin like that

i also wrote a similar letter. its prob more effective to write that type of email than the "im gonna f#@%in kick your @$$ if you dont put this site back up" they aren't going to listen to those, they mite not even listen to the other ones, but they have a better chance. also, id like to get an online petition going, so anyone who's interested please email me at foto2guy45@hotmail.com or IM, my aim sn is manchld84
