0 o I was looking around when I thought about this,

How many people from 2001 are active and post, I see no one I remember from 2001 still posting. Not counting how many people from 2001 play the game. 0 o

In the game I only see 1 other person from 2001 who play often. (Besides mods/admins)

Lancer PX,

On the forum there are only about 2-4 people who post OFTEN (besides mods/admins)

Lancer, cydrops aka master jay, asshole and me

0 O

We are all most a dieing race and I have tried countless times to e-mail people from 2001 to come back and stay and play once more. Most never e-mailed me back and the ones that did had grown too old to want to play this game. Its like every one just poped up and left.

The ones that did come back only stayed for a day or two and left. I don't get why but they did.

So what are your thoughts on this is it almost ok to say people from 2001 are almost extinct?

abc123test 08-01-2004 09:19 AM

Ya but, I don't see why so many people can just get up and leave the game. 0 0 I mean look at it there were 200 people at the most back in 2001 who played the game now outa 200 only 4-7 people post 0 0. What are the odds of that. By next year there might be no one from 2001 left. Or who knows mabe something will happen and every one will come back.

TarkanX 08-01-2004 10:44 PM

Yes, it is very sad; sad that there aren't many from 2001 anymore, the past great fighters of 2001 have moved on with this game, the ones that are asked to come back only do to see what the game is like, then leave again. There will be a point where non-mods/admins from 2001 won't be here anymore (on a regular basis). It is a sad thing, but there's nothing we can do to stop it; if you ask someone from the past to come back, they will, only for a day to a week at most. We just have to move on, we can't change the past, the people that register now, in 2 years, will be considered veterans of the game, besides, we always have our memories.

Heck, Abc123test: Even those from 2001 who are very dedicated to this game will find the game unappealing or conflicting with other things in their lives, so they will have to forfeit playing the game.

dominicankid098 08-01-2004 11:02 PM

And it's even sadder to know the decrease in skill from 2001-2002... which dropped dramatically... damn back in 2001 i used to struggle to get myself in top 20... now it is so easy... it feels like the top scores got tweaked... i used to love joining tournaments back then especially Zing79's first TOC which was the greatest of all time... i had alot of fun... even tho i lost to TarkanX (but still got to beat silvergo, silver-n-gold, akuma, and ssjvegeta### ... then moved on and changed my name to Stillmatic and got 86-0 till Koopsta beat me for my first loss with that name... Also i got RUNNER UP position for mastaq's BRAWL FOR ALL on my name LancerPX...

i fought the best and beat the best at least once (airlock, professor, baller, troy88, fear-tetsuo, etc)... the only one i havent beaten is tarkanx

I got a lot of history in this game and people dont really know it... AND IM NOT DONE MAKING HISTORY YET!!! SO I WILL BE IN THIS GAME... FOR A LITTLE LONGER UNTIL I GET MY RESPECT (on top of TarkanX's) lmao j/p buT I WILL GET MY RESPECT!! someday

BIGGEST POINT HERE IS HOW THE COMMUNITY CHANGED.. it used to be alot of fun... even the forum.. especially when senshukentaikai was around...

abc123test 08-02-2004 04:57 AM

The community has changed alot, and with it most of the people hav chaged with it and now they have diff. things too do then the game.

I think one of the many resons people come for a few days and leave is. Thats it is too hard to catch up on what has happened since they left.I mean when I came back in feb. I had to spend allmost a day seeing what I had missed out on.

Well, I think we have to look at the facts now. 3-100% will some one from back in 2001 come back and post on a regular basic.

I think one day I as well will find something that has happened in my life and wish to play the game no longer. As for every one will too.

I feel your pain lancer. I registered for the game in Oct. 01. I remember it taking months afterwards to reach the top 20. I think I $hit a break when I got rank 20. but or course know one knew who the hell I was till months and months after registering.

I, too, miss the senshuk forum. Damn those were some good times. Then when Zing introduced TOC3. Where, unlike the previous TOC's, you had to send him your daily wins. I actually made it to the Sweet 16. Then when things were looking great I saw my first opponent in the Sweet 16: The X-Man himsef, TarkanX. To make a long story short, he rapped me beyond belief...oh the good times.

Sorry, got side tracked their while going down memory lane.

shadowdog2244 08-03-2004 10:13 PM

I was here when the only "playable" character was ryu. Hmm. Dont take my joining date into consideration. I just never joined the forum. Until like the next year. I tired, forever to get into the forums. I remember I wanted to tell everyone how good I would be as a mod. That was a stupid idea. It is a good thing it took forever for the forum to authorize me as a member. Or else, I would be a hated member of the forum right now. Maybe even banned. It took over a year for me to be authorized and then my account on the forum goes berserk, so I register again. When someone told me on another forum, my messages of wanting to be a mod was spam and so it was deleted I got it, just in time too. I was registered like a week later on the forum.
I remember when no one said anything was cheap until members starting labeling it when the newer characters came. I remember the rank ones who were considered equal because everyone had the same character, and no one could really be "cheap."
I dont remeber much though, because I was in fifth grade, and I was rather lost of memory back then, litterally. Some illness that was supposedlly healing ever since I was born.
but I remember, and none of you may remember me, but I was there. I was just too discouraged to fight anyone because I thought everyone was like teenagers and adults who would say I was stupid, or some young, litte n00b wanabee. I now know I was wrong. I barely played at all. like maybe twice or 3 times ever in 2001. I forgot the site occasionally, heh. It was long. I was a player, until I realized you could register. Then I registered on the game in 2002.
Of course, maybe my non memorizing mind played illusions on me, heh. Maybe I am remembering about the things in 2002??? hopefully not.
Maybe I am not a real vet, but I was there. ???

dominicankid098 08-03-2004 11:27 PM

[b]speaking of tournaments... now they run really slow... before they used to be quick.. people would signup fast.. then the tournament would start 2 weeks later.. but now it goes slow... I think the age of the kids playin now adays are averaging around 12.

TOC 1 will never be matched up. Zing79 planned it too perfect. Then we have to go back and talk about senshukentaikai again. ESPECIALLY WHEN THE FORUM WAS JUST BLACK AND GREY (NICEST SKIN EVER). They had something that battle-grounds never had and never will cause battle-grounds is mostly emulator crap.. They had the Clan Wars tournament. which took lots of patience to set up.. there also used to be alot of clan battles..

now lets talk about the clans.. some are active and some are dead. and some idiots revive old clans which were not meant to be back *cough* DARK KNIGHTS *cough*

mastaq really had to destroy a piece of history by reviving a clan that is not even his... its Shi

TarkanX 08-04-2004 12:18 AM

Wow... all these memories, I'm breaking out a tear (actually, I'm not). Those were some good times. Even though I don't pay attention to the fighters now, from what I've known, these fighters now aren't as good as the fighters of the past; the fighters of the past cared for the game so much, not for points or rank, but just to play. They played their ass off, they kept training and making sure their fighting skills were elite. We tried developing so many strategies, and even tactics against different players, instead of one dimensional moves that we have nowadays (hadouken 10 times, then shinkuu hadouken, and jumping around aimlessly while kicking).

I remember when me and Token were fighting, we kept spewing explicit quotes at each other, but when the fights were done, we always said good game and never complained, heck, we even told each other what we could improve on. Nowadays, when I'm viewing a fight and one loses to the other, it's because of lag this or lag that or because you cheat... just shut up and FIGHT! My Computer (when I was a dominant force) was 4 years out of date, but that didn't stop me from working my ass off. I was never number one at anything, I used that will to make sure I was the best, every game I played felt like it was my last game; I never went easy on my students or even ####ies (unless I was trying to teach them). This game lacks the passion to fight, and that's why we made the World Warrior Tournament, to bring back the fire that TOC did.

Also, the elite players presently don't fight with other elite players and this makes me angry. Why did this have to happen? Fighitng another elite player was supposed to be a blessing, fighting for rank is repetitive and it won't make the person feel a euphoria. You don't accomplish much beating someone who knows nothing about the game, but when you beat someone who's at or above your skill level, then you are highly regarded and you know you can challenge anyone with confidance going into a fight.

I remember when I joined... before TarkanX, before Dominicankid, before NoSoul4evr, before SSJKarma, before ABC123test....

Just me... Lefty... and TMyApp himself posting here. Those were the days.

abc123test 08-04-2004 07:21 AM

Not to mention there wasn't very many ####s, the ones that were wern't as ####ie as some of the ones we have today. It was fun back then on the forum since tmy was looking for new ideas to make the forum and game a better place. Alot of people helped out and posted many ideas and I loved the way we voted for char. back then lmfao. The top 20 was a very hard place to get too. We had alot of people with very good recoreds I think mine was 47 wins and 6 losses rank 100 are something of the sort. Back then almost no one had more losses then wins. Also the best part is IT WAS ALL RYU VS RYU 1 ON 1! XD

dominicankid098 08-04-2004 07:27 AM

And to even think that there was actually cheap people back in 2001! ####saibot used to be the one making those cheap punches to death to get his wins. but then tmyapp fixed that bug and made the characters back off by ever low punch they make. WHICH WAS VERY SMART OF HIM!

I had joined the game in sept. 2001 and dxzero was rank 1. I didn't join the forum until Zing79 was advertizing the TOC in the game chat. During the first TOC tournament the first clans were created. Before senshukentaikai clans. The xXsomebodyXx army (which i was in with UMJ and Offma) and the black dragons i think by just blaze kinda forgot. we used to challenge the fighters on this forum.. well not this forum the forum used to be plain black and white with red links and it was hosted by wargames.mikerosoft. After I lost to TarkanX in TOC 1 then I started to train harder than before. I used my new name Stillmatic (which is the name of a rap album) and i went straight to 84-0 in the game and got my first lost against Koopsta. Koopsta Stealth-Dragon Allan Iverson and j-dog014 were always tryin to gang up on me. Those 4 people are the first to start talkin about *emulators* in the game. Allan Iverson aka Hotsauce and j-dog014 made a fansite called PrinceRyuk which used to be hosted by cyberfuturism.com... As senshukentaikai was first released I joiined Stealth-Dragon's clan called Raging Dragons. I barely posted there and I didn't even like some of the members there such as Sportschick155.. Then I stayed away from senshukentaikai for a little bit and just kept playin the game without senshukentaikai.. Fighting the fighters who were elite at the moment like manontherun (he was prolly the first chunli user to be in rank 1) (he also won TOC II i think).. And he was pretty easy to beat... Omnislasher had joined the game as well... He would only fight ####ies and he would stay in rank one fighting ####ies.. NOWADAYS EVERYONE IS DOING THAT! He changed his name to Mcbeth and started doing the same thing over and over. The problem was about trying to take his rank it was impossible cause the guy wouldn't sleep.. He would just play all day. I would challenge him and he would never fight me. So i never would have found out how good he ever was.. To back things up in time a little bit xvmst was trying to prove himself to be the greatest or laggiest fighter ever to play the game. He changed his name to fear-tetsuo and joined the smashers. He would argue with nferno666 all the time in the smashers senshuk forum. (the rumor was that nferno was a bit jealous of fear-tetsuo's power) fear-tetuo used to lag BAD.. Jumping all over the screen and the shinkuu used to hit him for a second. He joined Zing79's TOC III and got his final match against TarkanX. I think fear-tetsuo won the best out of 5 but got disqualified for cheating. TarkanX had the special red ryu with the special sentinel who used to run all over the screen. I think it was taken away from him during the release of N.O.T.S (Night of the Sentinels)... At that time i joined the Shotokan Masters KKS leading the clan.. When TMyApp released TAG mode i was excited to see how it came out. When i entered the game i found out how much it changed.. IN A BAD WAY... The lag was probably the worst lag i ever saw.. I was beating the elite fighters like they have just signed in the game... Then tmyapp fixed most bugs and lag and put it back to *normal* well at least a lil close to *normal* tag mode scared away alot of vets making them retire for good. ramziel didnt like it. professor didnt like it. he left the game and the shotokan masters. and many other vets had left... Tag Mode was really most of the reason why vets have left the game. (Even though it was one of tmyapp's hardest work) Then people started caring less of the game.. So they would just post in senshuk forums or the official forums and just make gfx and crap. I joined another clan called DK which prolly gave me a little life back... fighting other great clans.. then i left the clan and i started fighting on my own.. I joined mastaq's Brawl for All tournament. I think it went up to fixe rounds and I ended up in Runner Up position losing to Strider42. I retired from the game for one year and came back december. and i thought i would see the fighters i fought before but didn't see one of them. I read some old topics from challenges and tournaments saying that i had changed my name into something else cause they found this *new laggy player* the tournament was the Hardcore tournament. I laughed about it cause the Shotokan Masters rated me Top 3 laggiest people to play the game right next to fear-tetsuo. I came back played the game a little bit and got bored.. So then i found out that Darkmagick had came back to the game and i created a clan called Kyokugen Masters which is dead for nowbecause some left to vacation but I will have to revive it soon when Darkmagick comes back from his vacation this week.

Now I am willing to do anything to help the game out and bring it to life. So again i ask if anyone got any ideas just email me at lancer <a href="mailto:px@hotmail.co...otmail.com</a> or add me on msn with the same email.

Now that I really think about it... What happened?
Who or what caused the slow destruction of the community?
I dont what to say the members, because... THAT JUST CANT BE THE ONLY THING... it's sad. If it was once good, we can make it that good again right?
All of your memories actually sadden me. It seemed so blissful.
What happened? If you know, When did it happen?
Please help me find out what, exactly, is wrong.

dominicankid098 08-04-2004 12:39 PM

well then you really have to read some of the things i said... ever since tag the vets lost interest in the game... but it just made it a little interesting for me... People would just play tag and just use the power of the variable attack to win games... some would start the game in level 3 to start the variable as soon as the fight begins.. but tmyapp fixed that and now u can only start on level 2 but i think shouldnt be that way... there shouldnt be a choice on what level you start on... mainly because 1. most likely the first supers you throw wont connect so quickly in the game 2. if the player is lucky to get it connected it would be a cheap way to win.

Now I check out the topscores... and it's like i dont know anybody there.. before top scores were reserved for the top fighters of the game WITH SKILL... but now it is open for any new person who joins the game cause they dont even have to fight the best to get the points... They can go ahead and beat a person ranked 100 about 30 times and you would be in good rank...

Clans and tournaments used to be a very big thing back then.. People would talk about clans and tournaments all the time in the game.. Now people just want to bore themselves and find a way to piss off SMACKDOWN AND INFINITYBOT and then they think its *funny* to get kicked..

At same time people are not making much of an effort to make the game a little more fun... All I see is Liger Zero and pip99 hosting a tournament which is going quite slow.. Then there is tarkanx hosting the world warriors tournament and we will see how he handles that tourney...

I remember a time when everyone was interested in the game..

When Dark-Gunner used to say after every match win or lose over and over: "I won WHOS NEXT!"

or when inclusive used to start rhyming on the forum dissing everyone in the game and there skills.

Now look at the game.. as many *hits* tmyapp gets in the game its pretty much almost dieing.. even if it is the number one game on arcadepod..

And cause of this I am going to make sure to help this game out.. I never contributed to this game.. never donated.. but i know i can contribute in someway. I got to start on my blueprints :p .

I made the name "Master Jay" in Dec. 2002.

shadowdog2244 08-04-2004 06:32 PM

When you say clans were a big thing, what exactly do you mean? Do you mean like if you were in a clan, you were important or special or you mustve been really good? Or clans were like new and people actually cared about them? Or both? Or something more?
Also, can you tell me what the ranking system was then?

Tournaments.... I dont know what to do about that. If people liked tournaments even when there were no prizes, I dont know why they are dying... I will have to think about that. Dont think by me thinking, I wont accomplish anything. When I think, I think hard. You'll see some of my ideas by today's end.
It wont be so "funny" when they are exposed. You know who...
I try to make the game more fun by adding my own little mode, as you may already know, Be as cheap as you want here games. People tell me these games are fun, and I could start listing if you wanted, heh. Although these games change the style from skill for skill, it changes it to strategy for strategy. I WILL BE THE ONE TO HOST THE FIRST "BE AS CHEAP AS YOU WANT HERE" Tournament. It will be an excellent reliever as well as fun. I am sure people will join because people finally get to do whatever they want and not get critizised. People will try doing the most efficient things to win in a match. Sometimes I wonder if I am destroying the game with these games, but then I remember... I AM HAVING FUN. EVERYONE IS HAVING FUN! Except the idiots that will be exposed for calling me a n00b after they see the title of the game and they choose to join... Only 2 have done this, but there are always those stupid people.

Hmm, I dont think everyone can have a trademark saying, or be more interesting, heh, but I will try to see what I can do. I know a lot of people that are "al little mean and obnoxious" but I can change them, or should I say, I know they can change on their own. I can try making people nicer, but more interesting, they will have to do that on their own.

I can and will help too. :D

You see but it has to be something BIG. Tournaments used to be BIG back then. I know if someone wins a prize on the next tournament then everyone would like to join that tournament again just to win the prize. So then the life of the game will be back again. Clans used to be big because everyone would always challenge each other clans. I would stay in the chat and people would always be having clan battles or accepting new members to join their clan. That was all they would talk about! Now when you go to the game they have these private conversations that they can be talking about it in MSN MESSENGER.

And I too used to do the same as you. Make up a theme. I would host matches called *FREE WINS FOR ALL* and the Top Ten would always join my game. Which is very sad! Meaning the Top Ten would look for free wins just to stay in their ranks or get better ranks. The *FREE WINS FOR ALL* was the only way for me to get people to fight me. Top Ranks won't fight me 1 on 1 no tag cause they kinda knowbetter not too. LOL. When they see my name they know it is not going to be easy or a free win. LOL.

but no matter what it is going to be my mission to help bring the life again of this game. I don't care if the people hate me or love me. They will respect what I can bring to the game.

shadowdog2244 08-04-2004 07:00 PM

Very true, I am sure you will. And away I go. I will assist you. :D

The Red Ryu and Red Sentinel were taken away from me before the start of TOC3, which was at the same time as the jump lock implention.

It didn't scare away the vets, we hated it, because it was too slow. It wasn't the fast paced action that we were keen to, and it was very hard to get off your moves. It was like the world's fastest runner having his legs covered in molasses.

Although tag mode played a big role in the departure of veterans, there are other reasons, like lack of time, etc... Tag Mode (even though TMyApp put so much work into it) really depleted the value of the game. If there was no tag mode, then players like Tantum would be playing this game a lot, instead of never (Tantum even admitted this to me a few days ago). If tag mode was gone, I would still be playing the game on a consistent basis, instead of once a month.

Now that I really think about it... What happened?
Many things....

Quote:

Who or what caused the slow destruction of the community?
again, many things made the community deteririorate (spelling?). Although people would think it was the ####ies off-head, it's not entirely their fault. If someone who had a great fighitng spirit and never cared for rank, even though he was rank 1 had told and trained the ####ies of the game that rank doesn't mean anything, then the ####ies wouldn't be this bad... sadly, my skills are at waste and no rank 1 (after tag mode) player has done that, or had the time to.

Tag Mode was like an atom bomb, I think that is a good reason (like dominicankid said) why you don't see as many people registered from 2001 or early 2002, and many who are registered from those times don't play the game much.

Disorganization is also another thing. Have you counted how many "tournaments" have been made after TOC3 and how many were successful (almost to the level of TOCI)? Yeah, none; the people that make these so called tournaments don't put in the time and effort to make them good. If you see the old topics in the chalenges and tournaments section, you can see that Zing strained his ass just so that the tournament can be considered the best ever, you don't see many people putting as much work as he did. Hopefully, and for the sake of this community, the World Warrior Tournament can fix this.

Quote:

ever since tag the vets lost interest in the game... but it just made it a little interesting for me...
Supers thrown immediately in a match will almost always connect (if it is a beam super), and who cares about cheap wins when your rank goes up?

Quote:

Now I check out the topscores... and it's like i dont know anybody there.. before top scores were reserved for the top fighters of the game WITH SKILL... but now it is open for any new person who joins the game cause they dont even have to fight the best to get the points... They can go ahead and beat a person ranked 100 about 30 times and you would be in good rank...
It's trully a sad thing. These players have skill, they also have the potential, but they aren't unlocking it, because they aren't fighting players that aren't at their skill level, or even close to it.

Quote:

At same time people are not making much of an effort to make the game a little more fun... All I see is Liger Zero and pip99 hosting a tournament which is going quite slow.. Then there is tarkanx hosting the world warriors tournament and we will see how he handles that tourney...
We need more effort in this community, fighitng and planning, but we don't have that effort. And it's not exactly my tournament, it's the tournament made by the moderators and some VIP members; we are going to try our best to make this thing better than TOCI, and Dominican, you say that our tournament won't be as good as TOCI, is it because our tournament doesn't have the well praised fighters of the past? Why don't you think this will be as good as TOCI?

And cause of this I am going to make sure to help this game out.. I never contributed to this game.. never donated.. but i know i can contribute in someway. I got to start on my blueprints
If you have plans, AIM me at CenturionMario, and put me on your buddy list. I'm not on everyday, and when I'm on, it's usually at 3:00am EST.

Quote:

Also, can you tell me what the ranking system was then?
The ranking systems when the game was into its first months wasn't a "battle as much as you can" type rank. Even though it is the same as now (although the first top scores wasn't). The first top scores was basically, who ever had the highest win - loss ratio is rank one, so if I was 15-5, then I would have a ratio of 10, and someone that is 20-15 would have a ratio of 5, luckily, players nowadays didn't play back when the game just started.

Even with the first rank, people fought to better their fighting skills. As more top scores went by, people were fighting more for rank and this was first evident in the 2nd top scores. There was a player by the name of MegaPower21 I don't remember if it was a male or female, but MegaPower21 just kept fighting so much for rank, and it took to the last day before the 3rd ranks started that me and Nferno had to top MegaPower21. We had to stay up through the midnight and play non-stop just to hold that person down. Think of what would happen if MegaPower21 had become first, new players would copy off of MegaPower21's maneuvers of getting rank, and the game would be even worse starting from January 2002.

The rank system got worse with its 3rd rank, people actually started fighting for rank, instead of fighting skills, and form there, it just went downhill. With no one who had the heart to be a great fighter and still be rank 1, there was nothing we could do to stop this tyrrany.

Quote:

Tournaments.... I dont know what to do about that. If people liked tournaments even when there were no prizes, I dont know why they are dying...
The majority of people nowadays would rather have rank than tournaments, and the tournaments that are made are very sup-bar, and little effort put into them.

I WILL BE THE ONE TO HOST THE FIRST "BE AS CHEAP AS YOU WANT HERE" Tournament.
People have tried these, and they are still doing these things (which means they aren't working). One instance is the no projectile tournament (even though that tournament is still going on, from the looks of things, it looks like it might die out a slow death like Ryu's Drunken Brawl), if you do something like this, even if planned very well, it still might not have the flavor of a "great" tournament.

coolplayer2K2 08-05-2004 06:50 AM

im still here!!!!!!!!!!!

i joined the forum as the username sexyass lol. i donno why.then princevegetam posted porno site i took a pic and posted on the forum and got banned :D hehehe those where the days. and in the game only true vets remember me from 2001. *cough* dark-link pip99 sports tj5 ect ect *coguh*

adn i still remember when manontherun won toc and he was going like so crazy lol.

i still remmebered the senshutakiablahblahblah forum. it was FILLED with flaming. espeaccilly J-luna. he wud start arguements where ever he goes and he wud always say the Ikari Warriors ownz the Missfits. becuase back then the missfits just started as a guild and they didnt have lots of good ppl like they have now.but how i joined the missfits is when lordgorbyc made one of the best non graphical forum long time ago. the forum had a good community and was growing fast.and back in the day i was a good friend of lordgrobic. so then in the link section CarlMax ( the owner of missfits before Theprankster came) had posted a site and a forum on missfits.and i asked lordgrobycs if he wanted to join the guild. and he said "well it sounds like a good guild, ill give it a try" so he joined first.so then about a month later i joined the guild. since i got better and better pip99 tested me. we had a very good match and it was very close but unfortunatly pip99 won. then he said to me u can join the guild if youcontinue to work harder and practice. so i said to carl max that pip let me in and i joined it. then i was a proud member in the guild. although i wasnt in many guildwars i was in some. and i was in the guild war where we challenged the Ikari Warriors. so it was Ikari Warriors vs The Missfits. and i was vsing J-Luna. that was one of the hardest matches iv ever won. i won 1 round he won the next then it was the 3rd and last round. with me only having so little life left and him having 1/4th of life and there was 12 seconds on the time. i thot i was gonna lose. i was at lvl 2. i superjumped in the back of him and did a shinku hadoken. he blocked and still had like left.
then he super jumped and i stayed where i was. then i did a Super Roundhouse special rite when he came down and he died. i won with only 2 seconds to spare.
so that was one of the proudest moments in my "sfo career"

then kks started making the Wt tournaments. i almost never won. until Wt19 that was the only time i won a tournament.

then i started making new friends in the game like RKELLYNOTGUILTY, sportshcick, superboy, tj5, pip99, lightningstrike,lilgirl14 but the FIRST friend i ever made and the first friend that tought me how to use RYU was ssjxgokusaijin. then he changed his name to Quiet Killer.

he tought me eveeeerything i needed to know. buT the most important thing he tought me is how to go super fast in the game and do specials like when i super jump in the back of the person when i FEEL like he is gonna use his super. he tought me what all the vets at the time were doing like nferno666 pip99 tarkanx and much more.

now there is also pip99. he was proboly the nicest friend a guy cud have. he tought me how to use ryu good and how to be good in tag. once i got really good me and him started doing tagteamed. now i knowed him for being the best tag team with ECW. but when i was tag team with him WE WERE UNSTOPPABLE. we never lost! he knew the perfect time to tag me and he knew the perfectr time to request a tag. those were the great days. And he tought me crossover and variable.

Sports,Superboy,Lightningstrike,tj5,and lilgirl14,RKELLYNOTGUILTY.
these were one of the funniest people i knew. they ALWAYS made me laugh but WE always got in the fights. i was always jelous hwen sports liked superboy and tj5.and a friend from school lilgirl14 she was funny although sports hated her guts. rkellynotguilty was a cool guy and real funny. he never got mad at anyone. and i wud always ask sports for her msn but she never told me. YES THATS RIGHT! i liked sports way before i saw here pic! and lightningstrike liked lilgirl14 and vise versa. lightning strike was like 15 years old and at the time me and lilgirl14 were 8-9. and i was like to lilgirl14 dubya tee effur 8 and a half years old how can u like a guy double ur age?
so ya its true back in the day was real cool unlike now.

I guess I will have to explain why this isn't going to be as successful as TOC. (no disrespect to you tark)

During the time TOC was on, Zing79 had planned the tournament perfectly. His rules made alot of sense and his setup did as well. At that time the game was only 3 months old. So alot of people were still joining the game and when they saw the word *tournaments* they were excited.. everyone would talk about it in the chat.. Zing79 used to send emails to tell you your next match.. and if both opponents didnt show up.. He would make the best rank fighter advance..

Sad to say Tarkan but people are mainly joining your tournament because they got respect for you... they arent really looking forward for this tourney or any tourney. And also the people who do play the game right now have been playin for like the past 6-7 months.. If you check out the chat its always full cause all they do is CHAT..

but I think that if 100 people actually play in this tournament and someone gets the prize.. Then everyone will want to join your next tournament not because of the respect they got the mods but because they want to aim for the prize.

I join this tournament mainly because I want to be in the *greats* list and I want people to recognize me as *the one who won the world warrior tournament* or *very good fighter* but if i dont fix my mouse soon then i cant fight in it :(

so mainly im trying to say is without the fire in peoples eyes to win the tournaments.. then this contest will really do no good.. look at npt.. its taking them forever to finish there first round.. ZING79 made it only one week to finish your round or your out... and people would actually fight in that one week... so let see how fast your tourney is going to end...

You forget, I dont want the prize. I just want to fight, and see if my strategy is more powerful than skill. I dont even want the prize. I just want to be in a tournament. There are a few that are joining for similar reasons, and am happy.

Ok, now I am really gonna finish my HUGE list today. Should I give it to someone like you or Tarkan, or should I post it on the forum like I planned? I havent been playing SFO for 2 days for this, so I hope it is worth it. If you cant respond in time, I will just post it on the forum. So everyone can see.

Yeah, we are following what Zing did that made this tournament so great, through memory and through old topics. Although these players might not be as wise as the past players, that doesn't mean we will fail, and we will be constantly sending e-mails to every player in the tournament, about their match-ups, info and everything.

They aren't playing this because of me, this isn't 2 years ago. Many of the players here haven't heard of me before, unless they look at the rank archive or join the forum. And we will make sure they look forward for this tournament. Again, this might not be the golden days, but that doesn't mean we should quit while we're still going.

Each tournament round is 3 days, and no exceptions, if they don't fight, then it's good bye. Yes, they might not have the fire as before, but with good organization, we can make this tournament great. NPT wasn't well organized (although there were many rules there), NPT was just too rigid and thrown in the air, we are trying to make things so that everything is flexible and in line.

We need more people like you, if you made up the majority of SFO, then this place wouldn't be as bad as it is. but, if you win the tournament and you don't want the prize, then that is fine, we won't give the prize to you.
