i have one question... ive been to the Battle Grounds and seen these clans that represent diffrent people who would join something like a group and would join the groups refferred to as clans. are they needed for something?

as far as i am concerned, i have been asking th esame question for the last 2 years !
in two years, the only thing i have known that needed clans was the CLAN WARS which is actually just another tourney but for clans ! so if anyone ever have a good reason that makes clan good to join, then let me know ! not many gave a good reason to me, and its not that i want to stay alone absolutely, its just that none could give me a good reason for me to join any ! feel free to try anyway... |
Lol Clans can be very helpful in the point that you can learn from other members experience. Every clan usally has atleast one good vet that know his stuff and of course the new members would want to learn from him/her. You can make tight bonds in a clan and learn a little bit more then you would know from being by your self.
Just ta say, Im not in a clan. :D |

here is what i answered... i have friends around the forum, if i want to learn techs i can ask them and we gladly share our knowledges ! as for practice and skill getting acquired easier by being a clan, well, i fight the whole world, as far as i know... i don't have to fight with the same clan members all the time to get better, i just have to fight my way thru the users who actually this game ! anyway... except for clan wars, i don't see any reason to make clans ! FRIENDS = i have them around here and i am not in a clan ! TOURNEYS = we have WTs and lots of thers that are done by many other users ! BONDs = told you, i have friends and i'm not in a clan ! those are one of the few arguments they have been talking to me ! also, they say... one diss you out, the whole clan KO HIM int he battle field ! i answered... 10 against 1, one more reason not to be in your clan ! :biggrin: |
Why not just join one Karma, try it out for a while, and see if you like it...

Yeah, you never know if you dont try it.... So mostly is made up of ignorance. You really dont quite know what it is until you see it first hand. I know, because i tryied it first hand and i feel in love with the idea :D Trust me.... When your in a clan you play much better..... Cause when your around a clan, what keeps it alive is fighting eachother and other clans. So you can only get better not worst... When you play alone you practacly get tiered of the game. You play in one tournament and you played in them all..... Its not really much different from the rest. You also meet more people more faster than just playing around in the servers. Karma, i havent seen you in the game in along time.... I would think that you dont have much interest in playing the game alot, theres nothing to tie you down and play. Theres nothing to really keep you that interested in playing..... I dont either :D But i have a clan..... Having a clan game me that thrill i usto get when i first started playing this game. If it wasnt really for clans i wouldnt be here today. Clans arnt for everyone.... Why have Football teams when i can play with my friends? I think its much more challenging with Teams :D |
its adds more 2 the game ive been in missfits for like a year and a half...and im a respected member. Bieng in one can gain u respect...ive stuck with my clan...through the best and #### times...and ive bein offred 2 go to better clans but meh i stuck with my old clan.also clans battles are good......much better then randomily playin.

o well my clan would constantly lose cuz my comp causes lags so i have no wins in quick match and the only reason why i have 1 win is cuz my team mate won for me other than that i would make a clan called "THE LOSERS CLAN" it would be the worst clan around lol

Untill you have actually been in one you can't say they are good or bad. Its like saying i don't like sushi even though you've never tried it. Also i don't think clans are NEEDED the onlt thing that is really needed is the game and some users, actually if you really want to get into what is needed and whats not neededyou may want to think about if your own existence is even needed. Will the world not be able to survive with out you, i doubt it, wil the game die without clans i doubt it. |

well all i can say is this. joining the samurai clan was and always will be a great experience in this game for me. we are no ordinary clan. we are a clan that thrives on quality not quanity. we actually help each other get better. my good leader haohmaru2 actually helped me gain extra skillz even though i thought i couldnt get any better. we train each other, enter tourneys, make banners for each other, give out helpful info, and more. and if u dont believe me about training each other then take a look at me and aftermath. i actually helped him gain more skillz and experience. now some people say that his skillz rival mines.
so basically clans are and arent needed. it depends on the type of person you are. |

i see the needs for this forum, caus ei got friends thru it ! if i wanna fight people, i just get in the game and ask for fights,and believe me, i have lots of them ! i just don't see the need for clans ! tag matches lag like hell, i can't even compete in tag matches ! example: MY PING (hosting) = around 60-100 MY PING (joining) = around 300-600 MY PING (TAG, HOSTING) = ? don't know i never did it ! MY PING (TAG, JOINING) = over 1500 at all time ! i ask you, how can you love that kind of game ? no wonder that all clans says there are tons of lag in the game ! like i said, CLANS being like FAMILY ? i doubt it... i actually need my family and i don'T know what i would do without them. karma, youre basically combining the concept of CLAN of this game and the word CLAN where it actually originated from
of were talking about clan of this game then DEFINTELY not my kinda family but the CLAN im talking about is the REAL clan i dont even know why the WORD CLAN is used in this game bcoz in reality, CLAN is really about long dynasty of families that has very deep roots and role in their community btw, i dont need replacements on the family that i have right now :sarcasm: |

NFERNO666: he got to top of th erank like 3 times in a row, never have been in a clan at that time, he's pretty well known among the game AND forum ! TARKANX (aka clan destroyer) : same as above, he got rank #1 like three times in a row for more then a year and so. he got well known for even before any clans were made and he got declared as a legend. int he game, and in the forum ! see, where i go, you don't need to be in a clan to be known as a fitgher, as long as you play the game much and get wins against everyone ! and, how many times have i heard your name being on a winning trip ? none, what i hear is that the CLAN is on a winning trip ! so basically, when you win, you don't get that win, the clan does and that's what i'm against ! when i play i get the glory myself, i am the one who gets the fun of winning and i know that when i'll talk to someone he will say that i'm better then him ! and i don't need anyone to kick the ass of the moron who insults me. unlike clans who dare to say one for all, all for one ! see, we can do exactly the very same when being alone. so why would someone need a clan ? and if you gotta know, why do you think many clans get dissolves so fast ? because they don't offer anything that aloner like myself can get ! as for TARKANX and some others... they were in DRUNKEN SMASHER. but the clan nebver really gave anything, and got dissolved after a while ! errrrrr, he maybe not known by you, but marvel911 has been one of the best fighters around the time one year and half ago ! i say he's pretty well known around the place ! all i asked, was a proof that clan could do something for me, something that i couldn't get while playing on my own ! sadly enough, none could give me that reason, so i stay on my point, why are clans good, if all the reasons to be in it that you give me are all things i can easily get on my own ? that's all i ask, give me a GOOD reason, and i'll join ! last answer someone gave me, was because i was good, he said join my clan ! i said you want me to join because i'm good ? sorry, not interested ! see, all the answer i've got all have the same thing in common... i don't need to be in a clan to do them ! clans make you better... as far as i know, i don't need clan to do training and fights ! clans gives you friends... as far as i know, i have a lot already, why would i need more ? clans give you respect... how ? i had respect by respecting the people, not by being a great fighter ! clans have tournaments that clan only have... why would i join a clan for that reason ? i don't care about tournaments specialized or not. if i want to join a tourney, i'll have the choice of all other tourneys including the WTs ! very true karma, i used to think like you.... thinking that a clan so would only slow me down... but then haohmaru2 spotted me out of the crowd and asked me to fight in clan wars for him. ever since, i've been in samurais. now i've made a name for myself... not in this forum, because i rarely visit here. this is the path i have taken... i'm not telling you that it is the only right one to take. i'm simply trying to say that either way can bring a promising future and all you people are fighting over this for no reason... there is no right path, as long as it ends up in the same place.... |

Having clans is just a plus to the game. It adds excitement and gives people a reason to play.
That also goes with the top scores. Not to get off topic, but the top scores also keep many people interested in the game. |

its true that talking with people gives you better chances of not getting surprised by other users. its a good way to learn !
but being a lone wolf make you understand the deeper meaning of losing and winning ! that's what counts for me. that's why i now play for the fun of it and not for the ranks, skills and all... cause after all, its just a game and nothing more ! |
