Sup all.

Played from fighting street up till street figher III. Just wanted to mess around with my boy Ken and see if I still have skills.

What kinda controller do you guys use?

Thanks,
Tm

i've seen you ask that in the chat room and the answer is that 99.9% of the gamers here use their keyboard but dont worry its not that bad when you get used to it.

taintedmaster 07-15-2004 05:27 AM

Yeah i was just looking for more responses. I tried playing in story mode to get the feel of it and its just not the same as playing on controllers from: arcade>turbo16>snes>genesis>ps1 etc etc
but then again this isnt really the street fighter im used to. Guess thats what I get for not getting into SFvsMarv...oh well. Ill try to adapt.

Thanks.

My controls are easy to master, you can try them if youlike. Most of sfo has somthing similiar to mines.

Up: Up arrow key
Down: Down arrow key
Left: left arrow key
Right: Right arrow key

P1: Q
P2: W
P3: E

K1: A
K2: S
K3: D

Chat: T
Start: 1

Its not hard 2 remember, 3 keys for punch, 3 keys for kick.

Wave Master 07-16-2004 12:41 AM

I used to use

Punches: 4,5,6
Kicks: 1,2,3

I soon realized that you can't punch or kick all you can do was hadouken and round house and the specials

Arrows :
Up : Up
Down : Down
Left : Left
Right : Right

Low Punch : Q

That's all for my controls... And in my mind... It's the best ! :D

DA VIPA, what do you mean 99.9% uses keyboard? You mean there is actually someone that got a joystick to work somehow?

hotsexi_chic 07-18-2004 03:28 PM

i use keyboard
i think it's easier bc it's attached to the com already

LAB~MONSTER 07-18-2004 05:26 PM

I use the keyboard, and i think its the best one to use. even if i had i joy stick i would use the keyboard. unless if youcould have attached the ps2 controller to the computer. i am already comfortable with the keyboard.

Keys are default. I think its the best keys.

I tried changing my keys once. this was it

Arrows:
Up
Down
Right
Left

P1: 4
P2: 5
P3: 6

K1: 1
K2: 2
K3: 3

I tried using the number keys on the right, but i realized u couldn't, i stuck wit default.

I use a big rectangle thing with lots of small squares with letters and symbols on it.

Up:Up arrow
Down:Down arrow
Left:Left you know what
Right:Right whatever...

LP: U
MP: I
HP: O
LK: J
MK: K
HK: L

I feel very comfortable leaving the Punch and Kicks alone, thank you very much.

Its quite easy to make a config file you know? just requires a simple knowledge of C++

And the PS2 Usb connecter you can buy it I bought it from this site that was posted on the PES Fan forums

Static 07-21-2004 01:38 PM

Ive tried to set my keys to numbers so i can use the pad witch would be alot easier but i guess that won't work.
so i use the Pre-sets, they do just fine.

Why dont you believe him? I do. Like he said, it's not hard to make one. And you can buy a PS2 port to plug into the USB. All you need is a little programming experience.

I just use the default keys.
