??? well i hear all this rumors that when you have atleast 50 people in your tourney and you get a admin to deal with prizes and stuff...usually you are suppose to get a different color character or a official banner from the admins and i haven't seen that lately..all these tourneys are gone to waste..casue mostly 20 - 30 people join and the poopty ass prize u get is a banner made by a random person .. :huh: sigh..
Toc's were the only success in sfo history so far..all the new comers are doing bad job on this :eh: |

I think TMyApp or one of the Admins/Mods should host a tourney some time in 2005. The prize should be a new character or something big. You know everyone will join if they host the tourney.

ok, here some answers for most of you guys...
TOC4 was the only OFFICIAL tournament tmyapp was acknowledging, but quass and zing just left him andthe community giving him the utmost hates towards OFFICIAL tourney, thus official tourney has become only a dream. a dream that will never and i say it never become true since tmyapp doesn,t have time to make it official and doesn't want to take any part in a tourney itself ! as for the prizes, well yeah if you can make a good tourney with over 100 person then yes a prize will be availlable and th eprize will be mostly a new character color, the old RED SENTINEL helper, a banner that appears as the fighter fights in the game ! it all ranges between each other. all other prizes are purely made by members who wish to give a prize to their fellow members. as for tourney that worked... well no, TOC was a good sucess yes, but the WTs worked as hell also, what made them go wrong is the fact that it takes too much out of the people and they decided to let it go ! the MOD TOURNEY was also a fairly good sucess. many of the tourney might not had over 30 to 50 members going on, but most had fairly good sucess and those tourney includes SBYRD5 LADY KAT TOURNEY (SP?) so as to say many tourney aren't sucessfull is an oversaid statement, lots are good but those mainly lacks the advertisements thus many of you don't know them ! so there you got your answers... the rest can be found in the tournament section in the pinned topic that gives you all you need to host a tournament including how many people you need to get a prize from tmyapp ! |

This can only happened if their atleast more the 100 people. And they have to be good not n00b. ...The Tournament have to be susseed and how it set up. I plan on holding a tournament later on this year probably sometime in the spring name "eclipsed darkness" prizes thus far are as follows
first place:100 buck certificate to site or store of choice second place: 50 bucks certificate third place: 25 bucks a mystery prize may be thrown in as consolation to players who end up 4 through 10. Feel free to send me messages privately expressing concerns and opinions towards this idea. If you have any suggestions feel free to share them. |
