[color=#000000:post_uid14]ok many of may or may not know this but i will have to tell everyone to make people aware or how to decrease lag
First go to options and turn off your music i mean everything
Second put the sound and music to zero
next turn of the background
and last turn off any problems u have running
and u will be set for all yall non belivers out there try it for yourself and experience the difference of not laging all the time

Note= having full screen also slows down your computer response so keep it in small view so u have the better advantage of the ppl who dont do what im trying to get u to do[/color:post_uid14]

Good advice. I already knew about turning off all the music, programs and stuff but i didnt know full screen effects lag. Thx for the info. This will help me with my game :colgate:

Is this really necessary? Anyone who knows anything about SFO or even computers in general should know the following:
-Turning speakers/webcam off speeds up computer
-Software will download and files will load faster if you turn off speakers, webcam and monitor (turn it back on when you think he file is done)
-Smaller screen=better performance
-I'm a better SFO player than Vash (I just had to add that one lol no offense Vash but it's true :alien: )

so thanks for tell me how to decrease the laggy thing ..i gona try it but ..with a small screen of sfo i can't fight well as with a big screen

It works but it made me pretty laggy throguh.

SFO looks ugly full screen anyway :biggrin:

ok playing small screen is fine and all but
i hope yall notice that often times u cant block
playing fullscreen helps with the blocking dramastically because of the frames per second
full screen will slow ur character down tho
but its a sacrifice im willing to make :D

Yes but the blocking problem is because of lag or bad reflexes...
Fix both! :biggrin:

Here's what I do for 56k modem's:

1.Turn off Background
2.Turn on slow connection for high lag
3.turn off music (0)

ok for one turning the volume of the sound and music won't do anything, with the sounds turn down, they will still have to load and be played but you won't hear it. the best you can do to prevent the loading and use of sounds are to turn off the music and let the sounds run anyway.

two, slow connection mode speeds up your game a good deal if you are lagging so that would be your number one priority. however this will only help if you challenge someone with it and they accept to play in slow connection mode.

three, you should disable dashing, sure it may hinder your abilities, but becuase of the lag you might encounter on a slower comp, you might press pressing a button twice 10 seconda part, the game may think you pressed it twice in half a second and will force you to dash.

so in conclusion you should disable the backround, music, dashing and enable slow connection mode

windows xp users to enhance computer performance
go to control panel> system > advanced > performance> set to best performance>apply. whooot there it is!ur desktop would look dull but performance is better as less memory is used to generate ur pretty desktop.

also use the download version of the game for higher fps.

turning off programmes such as kazaa,limewire would lower ping and increase fps.
