i won story mode and the boss is evilryu :laugh: i used akuma :D

i beat the game when i played it the first time in the morning

funny the boss for me was Akuma and I was E.ryu

Won story mode? Maybe i suffered from a glitch or something but when i beat akuma...final boss...the game kept continuing. I beat him 6 times and he won 2 times...is that normal? In this case..story mode couldnt be beat..hrm. Ill go try it again.

this happend to me once, but i beat it again then it said
"to be continued" just like the old XvsSF.

whatever...we know theres glitches and bugs..all we can do is wait.

Ok i beat it again and this time it allowed me to advance to the last screen. I noticed 1 error in the spelling (trully should be truely) lol. Wow yet again TMyApp you impressed me with the story mode. I always enjoy playing them. Keep up the good work.

ive experienced that glitch too. so i really havent beat it yet cause i was fighting akuma like 7 times. so i said flip it and i quit.

Ive noticed the AI is tougher, little more aggresive and smarter.

as for the final boss... well i was wondering if there was any new thing happening, but i was also wondering about ONSLAUGHT... if all the marve| chars are still there then why isn't he still the final boss ?

Try beating it with only a choice of Ryu, Chun-Li, and Akuma who I barely know how to use. Then its alot harder.

Hint: To get an easy win stay really close to him and use the hk on him..he jumps to the other side of you...continue with the hk...when he does his super he will be above you..therefor not affecting you. Hes pretty easy if you use this strategy.

Oh the boss was no problem...
The problem with story mode was the infinite blocking opponents!!
it gets soooooo enoying...!!!

Edit: Just checked Karma's thread, but still normal mode is sooooo jagged and slow!! :(

karma: You asked about ONSLAUGHT. Try using "sentinel" as one of your characters. My combo of characters were "Sentinel" and "Akuma" when i fought ONSLAUGHT.

Hmm interesting...

i ant ever touching story mode.

I think its harder ifuuse akuma. With E.ryu you should make sure when akuma jumps for his special u try to get under him or duck, then when he is just about to come down get him with your special the twisting kick(forgot the japanese name).

Yes, the blocking and the continuing calling helper when you do a combo and what makes it worst is that they don't run out. It gets really annoying. But atleast we have a game.

For more advice about the helpers and the AI calling them everytime you do a super....well use Akuma, super jump, then perform your super..(the one with 20 fireballs)..it reaches across the whole screen so you have like an 80% chance that you will hit them..this way the helper wont be able to help the AI.

They can hit you if they have the purple lady, juggernaut, hulk and sometimes it hits me but it doesn't even touch me

True.And no glitch or lag to woory about heh :D

evil ruy is hard to beat now the dont block like the always do the fight face up!

evil ryu is easy compared to the other bosses trust me, so far it looks like theres a boss for each character but some are waaaaaaayyyy harder than the others.

story mode is easy i tell u bbeat it all the time

yea i fighted onslaught when i beat the game as sentinel and played as spidey and venom connected when i beat it wit spidey :buttrock:

ok story mode is easy for me to beat but not when i use akuma cuz evil ryu keeps healing ifulook closely his health keeps going up :shocked:

Or you could just corner LP them to death*.

*Does not work very well on bosses.

And since everyone is going to find out anyway:
1st Character/Boss
Ryu(You use E. Ryu instead. Consider it a "trial version") = Akuma
Akuma = E. Ryu

Well, I think the AI is cheap:

1. how can you block everytime, even when you're leaping off ground?

2. They just won't die sometimes, unless I go cheap on them.

3. I'm never gonna get past those two sentinels. :(

Trip the sentinels a lot. They have HORRIBLE recovery time standing back up. or cheaply push them in a corner and cheaply press that LP button!.

Well Unlock cyc|ops select him first then have any other 2nd character go threw story mode I Guarantee you wont win. :biggrin:

s. prime is unstoppable but u win no matter what because of that bug. The only boss I don't know is Chun-li's.

silent killer he is unstoppable, every time you hit him while he's blocking he re-gains health and he blocks pretty much all the time...although the same goes for akuma when your playing as sp
