why u ask ?? well... seems that every time someone made a post, 50+ of those damn things would get re-downloaded each time (killing lefty's server)... and 60+ lines were added to the html log (not a very good thing) :biggrin:

yeah this forums webpages do load a bit slow.at first its pretty fast but then after awhile it goes slow as h***.maybe u could fix this tmyapp.

it isn't "OUR" connection who is the problem, it is "FORUM SERVER" who is. you see when you have more then 190,000 person coming each day, even if he has a really high connection to the internet... it will just drop down on everyone causing "LAG" to the "SERVER". so he had to recuperate some of his speed and one of the way he found was by getting rid of those "sometime annoying" little smillies !

now do you understand what he said and why he had them removed ?

i will copy that picture, so i can have the smillies i need !

This won't really affect me to much, because i hardly use smiles in any of my post. Besides some people tend to go berzerk when using smiles. This will help to maybe stop that from happening and cut down on the work the server has to do.

actually i kind hated those smileys.i am glad they are gone.

well it's not all bad about the smillies because if u liked a certain one u can still use it everytime. All u have to do is write the ones u like down on a stickey note and put it on ur computer :) TJ5 u said that "95% of cyclops users r cheap and 5% r not!!
