Ok, here's the deal. This forum is fucking huge! We must have covered every topic imaginable about this game and 65 billion other topics that have nothing to do with the game. So people, this means your questions are more than likely already answered. From now on, if you got a question or something to say at all for that matter, at the top of the screen there's a link called Search. I'm even thinking about making it in big 72 size font with flashing colors. Click it and do a search for what is in your head BEFORE adding to the mess we call a forum.

With that said, from now on, if I see a post that is answered somewhere else, or there's comments JUST like it in another post where you are very welcome to post to, your post gets deleted. If that topic has been closed(locked), that means the question has been answered or it means that subject is over with or not allowed or I'm just sick of seeing it and therefore you are not to bring it up again.

like I said, there's a reason I closed it. We don't want it there. There's a topic that explains how big the avatars should be and what format. There's also numerous topics(I know at least 1 from me personally) explaining that we do not like to go fishing through the 15723 posts to look for people wanting their avatars posted. We prefer you to email them. We also prefer you not to bitch if we don't get it uploaded right away. TMyApp and myself are very busy with other aspects of this game and other aspects of life(god forbid). We will probably get it uploaded asap, maybe not. It's even possible we won't get it uploaded at all because we overlooked it. In which case give us at least a week or so and email us again saying you emailed us once already and would just like to remind us that you did in fact request it.

yep, and when u email TMy, there is a 3 week waiting period... and why u msg him via the internal messenger, the odds are, u will never get a reply :biggrin:

bottom line... lefty is right... i may not have "the iron hand of death" and/or the time to close all of the topics that i want to (i prefer the more subtle method of changing the scores of those i h8te) but damnit.... HE IS THE LAW !!!

i dont have a problem with the Mods crackin' down..i try not to make useless post and only respond to topics that realy catch my interest.(occasonaly i go off on a newb or a puke...cant help myself sometimes).,,and with this flood of newbies lately the rules realy need to be shoved in there face...lots of them never take the time to explore the forum,and just start posting useless crap thats already been covered lots of times...like the ever popular,"How do i do the moves?" questions....and mostly i dont think the mods want the forum to be a "hang out spot" for stupid sh!t to be posted.

the weird thing here is that its basically 30 ppl posting in here all the time...

I think this needs to be said...its a forum, not a chat room. If you want to keep chatting it up like this, then use the servers that were created for it.

leftyfb and TMyApp are extremely busy, so its to your advantage to keep things nice and tidy...

lemme bring this to your attention. If you guys didn't clutter up your own posts with retarted crap, then maybe they would bother to look through them all the time. How many times has a topic started about one thing and then continued on for 3 pages with regard to something else?

EVERY topic in here seems to have that problem. It starts out about topic A, and ends up on topic B. Don't post shit in topics if they don't relate to what they are about. It's annoying as #### to read a topic title enter it, and find out only 2 posts actually relate to the topic, the other 10 are about something totally different.

its pretty simple, be smart enough to keep the posts clean and tidy enough so that leftyfb, and TMyApp are gonna want to go through them.

Hopefully I don't sound annoying, but no one answered my question. If I sent an e-mail to Leftyfb with an avatar, how long would it take to load??

make an AVATAR forum. it cant POSSIBLY be that hard. just crack down if they dont post an avatar request there, and disable replys in that forum.

make a GENERAL forum, for whacky mother fuckers like axe, or inc. they post irrelivent stuff, but that can be done there, and will make this forum MUCH better.

add these and you will reduce the dumbshit posts by at least 30%. and just crack down on repetitiveness.

Anyways, good idea on the Avatar forum, Token. If (that being the operative word) such a forum were to be created it should only let moderators reply so that people don't just keep on spamming their lack of a personal avatar.

Being on topic, though, the Search hypertext link should be made to stand out a bit more. Either people never see it, or they are too lazy to check if the topic has been covered already.

Inclusive, at least people have the brains to use a dictionary, unlike you.

Anyway, Dan, TMyApp did not make the program for the forum, so I don't think he can highlight it in anyway or so. But yeah, I do agree with you that the Search link should be highligted in some way, perhaps have a magnifier beside it. ;)
