Finally I can get MvC2 for another system(since they dont sell MvC2 for DC anymore). It'll have online play too, so I can show you what skill is :biggrin:

Ok since this thread already started on the Gamecube and Playstation 2 rivalry , lets continue.
Nintendo Gamecube does not suck, if it did it wouldn't be in 2nd place behind the Playstation2.

Nintendo's policy has always been Quality over Quantity Nintendo has also been the innovator of video games. Who brought 3-D gaming to the mainstream? Mario 64. Remember the Super FX chip on Star Fox for the Super Nintendo????
Ok back to Gamecube, when that Stars Wars Rogue Squadron II or whatever came out, it WAS the graphically BEST looking game on any system. Now it is Capcom's Resident Evil....Bow as well all now graphics are not everything but, with Nintendo's reputation of giving us GREAT gameplay, that's just an added bonus :biggrin:
The only games I really like For Playstation2 are Gran Turismo 3:A spec, Grand Theft Auto3, and some fighting games, and maybe Twisted Metal Black .... I don't care for Metal Gear Solid : Sons Of Liberty heard it sucks :)

3...For everyone else who thinks Gamecube sucks., it doesn't. I'll be getting My Gamecube just to play Mario, Castlevania, Zelda, and the new Metroid and other Cool games that you will not find in the XBOX and PSX2.

They're making a Castlevania for Gamecube? Sweet. I wouldn't mind playing Zelda or Metroid, but I'm sick of Mario. Mario is the basis of Nintendo's marketing scheme, and I think it's gotten pretty downright lame (e.g. Mario Tennis, Mario Golf, Mario Paint, Mario's Time Machine, Mario's Missing [oh no :cheesy:], Super Mario this, Super Mario that, give me a break already).

to #### with mario, they need to kill off marioo and let luigi take over. as for game cube sucking, it doesnt. i would buy a gamecube just for resident evil 4. especially since i heard that thats the only system its gonna be on.

Just to tell ya the new metroid and zelda are going to suck.

i hate all those classic characters, they may be addicting but it's always the same thing. like mario, you always jump over stuff or get money or something like that.

Hey! Mario(heh) is a cool character, the 1st game I ever played was a Mario game(Super Mario Bros. for the NES). And it takes a lot of math to beat Mario(the jump on platform games, not partying) games.


Anyways.... the game cube is my fav. system IMO out of the 3 current right now, and yes the dreamcast should've survived. MvC2 for PSX2 and X-box won't be as good as the dreamcast graphic wise, do you want to know why?


When capcom ported SF games to the PSX1, they were terrible conversions, but with the DC, it was just great. the DC can handle 2D graphics very well, but the playstation only focuses on 3D, thus making sloppy 2D characters. Look at the playstation 2, compare capcom vs SNK2 for the PSX2 with the DC version. The PSX2 looks like it's jagged, because the PSX2 doesn't handle 2D graphics very well, so as the X-box. How many Xbox games are 2D? *quiet crowd* that's right, none. The Xbox is made for power, graphics doesn't cut it. you can have great graphics, but it doesn't matter if it doesn't have gameplay.

Well anyways, I don't care if the graphics aren't good as the DC or not, I just want a home version of MvC2(tired of going to the arcades), and with online play.

I remember Mario. iwas about 6 years old when i first played it. And it was already 1993! Go to show you how poor i was back in the day. although i really miss the old days*sigh*. Today i think the playstation 2 is the best system ever in the history of the world. GTA3 is the best game ever. (in my opinion anyway):biggrin:

PS2 Has almost every single game that Gamecube has.....and PS2 already has way more games then Gamecube.....Barbie? um.....PS2 is fun for the whole family...if you dont' like barbie then dont buy it.....and did Japan make Barbie? I think not....

gamecube sux, you can't even burn games for it.
