it all goes back to the comics... as u all remmemba' ... BEFORE Venom, Spider-Man wore the alien Symbiote which gave him a lot of what now known as "Venom abilities"... that is... until Parker got rid of the damn thing and the REAL Venom was born...

while some of u labled him as "armored spiderman"... that is simply not true... (the MvsSF looks are very superficial) ...

being Spider-Man with the Symbiote, u'll notice that he will have a few "new" moves than the "regular" Spider-Man (two moves to be exact)... "Symbiote Attack" and "Death Byte" ... (yes they are a Venom rip.. but hey.. Parker DOES have an excuse this time ) :biggrin:

... now.. the "confusing" facts...

in version 0.7a you ALL had the "Symbiote Attack" (down, forward + kick) ... and it was GREAT (wasn't it ?? ) and now.. it is gone ?? well.. lets think about that... u had the REGULAR Spider-Man, yet u could do a "Black Spider-Man" mover ?? ... down in "XvsSF Land" we call that a bug (which was fixed in 0.7b )

now.. one last thing... "how can you play as Black Spider-Man" ... well... as many of u know, he is a VIP and MOD only char... thus, u "normies" can't pick him (yet... but who knows what the distant future will bring )

can u tweak his special?? it takes like half of ur energy if it gets u ...

he more ******* powerfull than wolve......and hes 3 times quikcer and he can shoot..tmyapp hes totally screwing up the game

There are about 15+ VIP/MODS that can use the Symbiote Spiderman.
Compared to the rest of you 215,000+ regular users.

Thats only 15 people out of hundreds of thousands of users....Thats ONLY 15 people you need to "look out for" if your worried about your win/loss average,or highscore.

Plus...We the VIP's, have donated money to help keep this game FREE for everyone.
So I beleive that..YES! WE DO deserve special moves, characters and perks, that the average non-donating member cant use.

Tmyapp I think it would be great if sometime pretty soon you could put in spidey triangle jump when you can make him hit the wall and jump off it cause spidey will never be complete without it...

When I play marvel vs capcom with him triangle jump is a main part of my stratagy...

in any case... there WERE some issues with balance in 0.7a, but the "Death Byte" has been tweaked in 0.7b ... so... after ALL of the tests i did, i never saw the hyper take off more than 40% ... and most of the time, it stays @ around 30%... (compare that to Logan and his 50% health-be-gone hyper )

... i really don't see the VIP/MOD players taking over the top-scores with him... but if they do (god knows why) ... i'll tweak him a bit more... :biggrin:

Oh Tmy, is he gonna stay like this, or are you gonna give him the colours like he actually had them (black with the white spider in front). I'm guessing no, cause you're not an animation or anything.

Although, someone could do it, and recieve the perk. Since it is a 2d game, the colours are more definite, so u can just use the colour replacer or magic wand to sort of replace the colours. You could just look at venom.

we always never see them online, we almost never see a VIP or mod getting a real fihgt and we certainly never really be able to fight them because they have so much things to do !

I've had many a spidey fight with tupac. I think the special that is given to the black spiderman's awesome, and will get more people to donate money :). it definitley does give VIPS the edge, but tupac would be able to beat me anyway.

Ive been fighting alot with spidey these past days, and i have to say that almost everyone that has fought me has said "Stupid VIP", "You had to be a VIP", "You cheated", "thats not fair", "you lucky you got armored spidey" and stuff like that.

People have wanted to kill me because of spidey. Oh well, they cant really do anything about it. But still its pretty stupid when they call you all this stuff and its because of you that this game is still going(which i doubt).

Tupac will get to rank one before i go to Mexico for a month and leave you all behind. Reason why im fighting alot, trying to get the best out of the game before i leave. :biggrin:

but why don't u fight back at them? i know thats rude especially if you're one of the mods or vip's. but sometimes they get carried away. at least they could also learn their lesson... er.. if there is :D

Undernet1: If you can afford to run your own site and everything, then all you have to do is send TMyapp 5 or more dollars through paypal, and you'll become a VIP. Then, you'll be a VIP for life - unless you specifically ask to be "Un" VIPed (but who would want to). You'll receive the black spiderman as well as many other cool perks. Well like SSJKarma said twice, there are very few Vip's and personally I don't care about rank, so it's not like I'm using Spidey to get up there.
Yet the people who play this game like almost everday such as Nferno666 and Dark-Link are in the Top 5 and use a non-vip Spider-Man so it's not like there's a need to tone down the Vip's special moves.

two thing makes maximum spider an almost none dangerous move !
1 - it got a very big bug in it ! (do it, then push the forward key before spidey get to the edge of the screen. spidey just cancel his super)
2 - so easy to block ! (you just need to see spiderman coming)

with this known...
believe it or not, i'm better with spiderman then i was with sentinel. now i can kick butt without even trying ! but i think its just that i know him well ! anyway... keep him like he is and stop complaining !

Well, I have an idea that would make Maximum spider alot easier to handle, it wouldn't drastically change it.

Maximum spider is pretty easy to block. How bout making maximum spiders blocked damage a tiny "sliver" of damage. That way, if/when you block it (which is pretty damn easy), it's very little damage.

As for when the damage connects, leave it as it is. If you can't block it (which is pretty easy), then you should receive that damage.

well, while some of you said that he's screwing the game up, i think that the other characters need to be improved, rather than weakening spidey. Why? well, because with lag, many of your attacks dont go through. But with spidey, those that DO go through do some damage. Before, if you were playing a high lag game, it could go on forever, and even when your moves went through, it didnt do very much. Spidey handles lag really well.

oh, and about maximum spider being easy to block?
if youre in the middle of the screen when he does it, you have to rapidly change the direction you're holding to block--to block you hold away from the enemy, but when he's going from one side to the other...
Also, it has ENORMOUS reach. I was doing chunli's lightning kick, and maximum spider was doen. It went straight through my lightning kick without stopping. You pretty much need a projectile to stop maximum spider


About VIPs being able to exploit black spidey--it isnt gonna happen. Noone wants to pay $15 to become a VIP, and risk losing it because of "misconduct" or whatever; and if they paid the money in the first place, then you have no place in bitching at them--theyre helping to fund the game. Plus, most of the immature ones who WOULD exploit spidey dont seem to have a checking account or the money to spend.

well i haven't use him once for fighting but have in practice(the correct way..not cheapness) well tmy since spiderman has a new move that only vip can use why not let ryu have his *shin Shouryu-ken* for vip's i'm sure there would be more than just 15 after that :laughlong:
