*sigh* ... very little can be said outside of what u'll find on the main page of our site... nevertheless, it is interesting to see the view of Marvel fans on this matter...

the only thing this site ever tried to provide was a little tribute to the great minds behind the Marvel characters... but, i suppose this was not enough...

as you have read, any and all attempts to find ways to keep the site up and running have either failed, or were turned down by Marvel's licensing department...

nothing more can be done on our part, thus, any and all Marvel related content has been removed from the site...

as i'm sure this thread will become quite lengthy and heated, i only ask for you all to please keep your comments tasteful, and not do anything which may provoke Marvel Enterprises in thinking that we did not comply with their demands or disagree with their wishes...

what i personally think of this matter is NOT important... this site has always been made by and more importantly FOR the fans... and only they have anything to lose at this point...

come guy's you had to have seen this coming...some serious #### like this was always going to happen...it's just how the world works. this site was fun while it lasted but right now about the only way that we are gonna get the site back is

1)if we all pay for the site and most of that money goes to marvel or

2)if we can somehow persuade marvel to create their own version of the site but if that happens we'll still have to pay for it.

money is the only thing these guy's will be interested in and as long as they're not getting anything out of this they wont be interested in allowing the site to stay running.

and tmy i dont know what you'll think of this idea but at least give it some thought...

since this site has been shut down why dont you think about creating a whole new site, i know this means a lot of work but if you just ask i'm sure that almost all of the members here would be more than willing to help. you could use some of the stuff you already have in this site that doesn't have anything to do with marvel but then create you're own characters instead of using marvels ones.

please just think about this because even though the people here can get annoying at some times i've still enjoyed my time here and i'm sure that everybody else has and we really dont want to see this community destroyed so suddenly.

guy's i'm just as pissed off as you are about this happening but you dont seem to understand the situation. marvel have copyrights over all of the marvel characters so they have the right to distribute them as they please but they also have the rights to request that their content is taken off sites as well.

and continuously sending this guy e-mails may just make the problem worse especially if you send stuff like you're posting right now. the best thing to do is just to send a calm e-mail stating the facts (ssjkarma would probably be pretty good at this since he always seems to get all of the neccassary points into all his posts) and hope like hell that they listen and allow this site to stay running.

or we can all accept the fact that this site is finished and try to presuade tmy to make a new site with completely new characters which aren't taken from another site so that nobody can say that he has to remove the site because of a breach of copyright. and this is what i think we should try to do because although it would mean more work for tmy i'm sure he would find all the help he needs from the members if he just asks for it.

or we can ask him to keep this forum for us

i cant believe the dream is actually dead i thought it would never die!!!! how could they do this to us man it is just wrong to ruin such a community as strong and as big as ours!!! we are like 1 big family with all the big veterans digital, pip, italy, da_vipa all rulin the site then you got the future vets like bugs and others!!! it was amazing what a site could do for a bunch of people!!!! how it could be crushed by 1 letter and one person sayin that they aint allowing it!!!
sur the dream has died but it will be kept alive by one hope that 1 day it will come back on!!!!

Umm... This is kinda messed up, but it's MARVEL that wants this site closed... CAPCOM hasn't said anything... Why not take away all of the Marvel installments (characters, stages, storylines, etc..) and keep the Capcom installments? That way Marvel can't do anything about it, because Marvel isn't being represented in the site/site/forum... Just a though...

1)Send this marvel guy a email with no flaming or viruses cause then he's defenatly not gonna let us use marvel characters.

2)Hope Tmy makes another site with diffrent characters that aren't going to get taken away.

Yes, make another Dream, no more Marvel Character *sigh, I'll miss you Wolvie* but we still have Capcom....You can change the site, not from scratch, but now I dunno, maybe Street Fighter Alpha Online or something all Capcom, A new dream is born, never give up, your dream was to make a site for people online like us to play when we're bored ( I think), so don't let that Dream die, make a whole new site....

No that wont work at all look at it. You see the pics that pip has posted alll of those backgrounds are from X-men vs Streetfighter and Marvel vs Capcom. Wolvrine will not be the only one to go, cyclops, spiderman and Sentinal will go down in history too along with Onslught, Dr. Doom, Psycloke, Venoum, Juaggernant, Hulk, Sprial, Captian America and Shuma. Pretty much the site will site apart.

Im surprised to see you have gotting this far TmyApp, strange how I thought Marvel and Camcom wear cool with it and u had permission and copyright to do this. But I have to admit what he said of Marvel link bieng on the site looked like they where apart of it (I thought they were).

The only thing you really have to redo are the character drawings and the code for their moves, but you already have the site engine which is probobly the hardest part. And this was the only Multiplayer Online Fighting site. Please make a new version with NON-MARVEL characters.
