I was wondering if anybody could tell me what the next Capcom fighting game (probably SF) is and when, if there is a next, it will be released. Such as, are there any known plans for another crossover game? Or are there plans for Street Fighter IV?

It would be appreciated if only posts relavent to the above topic would be made to this topic. Thank you for your cooperation.

There will be no more marval crossover games because then contract is cease SNK is going out of business CvSNK3 is it so I don't think there will be another vs game. Can someone conform this? I think capcom bought the right to CvSNK maybe.....

I needed that info too. unfortunately, there are no capcom fighting games planned as of right now, dont expect to see another Street fighter 3 game since capcom said they wont make any anymore, they even said they will stop making more alpha sequels. So Street fighter 4 is probably the only option. And Capcom will stick to those dumb vs. games right now.(marvel vs. capcom, and capcom vs. snk 2 was pretty cool though.

In an interview with capcom, they said there will be a capcom vs. snk3 for game cube.

GameCube!?! Capcom's Street Fighter and Nintendo haven't struck a deal since Alpha 2.

OK folks, you heard it here first.

The next Vs. game is going to be Marvel (or street fighter) Vs. Dragon Ball Z.

No i'm not making it up, However as of right now, capcom doesn't plan on making 2d games for a while. So supposedly this is likely to be a 3D shooting action type game (don't ask).

Like i said, this isn't made up whatsoever. I HATE DBZ. no no, i mean HATE it. Anyway, i don't want any critisizing, because i'm passing along what i've read, NOT my opinion. Though i wouldn't mind hearing people bitch about how gay DBZ is ;)

Okay, Akuma I don't care if this is a joke, but after saying that I must say this to use... Dear god you have just wasted the full poteintial of your mouth.

Even if they made this so called Marvel vs DBZ, the characters of DBZ would be able to defeat the characters of Marvel since everyone of the DBZ series can shoot, fly and do all types of amazing feats. This doesn't mean that I do like DBZ, and I don't really.

This is no joke, Maybe you should read my whole post selvin. If i was making it up i would have said something like Image comics Vs Marvel Vs DC Vs Capcom.

Okay... a MvC3 for the GC, CvSNK3 (perhaps) for the GC, and SF4 the only way to go with that... and then this wierd idea of a Capcom/Marvel vs. DBZ game. Thanks for your input everybody, but...

Akuma, where did you see that? I have played Super Butoden, Super Butoden 2, Super Butoden 3, Hyper Dimension, Legends, and Ultra Bout 22 (all DBZ fighting games, first four for SNES, rest for PS), and I can tell you that the Capcom characters could kick the butts of all the video game character versions of DBZ. Neat idea, though, if it is true... I'll do some research on that.

What I'd really like to see is Marvel vs. Capcom vs. SNK, with the option of Hyper fighting or Standard Fighting (the difference between the crossovers and the SF series). THAT is what I'd like to see... think of all the characters.

And Selvin, it seems that your banner for MvC3 is just a bunch of images from MvC2 put together. I can recall those images very easily.

Hmm... interesting, but that site's information source is in Japanese, so I can't verify a thing that it says. I can tell you straight out that it just can't be Street Fighter vs. DBZ. If anything it will be a 3D game, just like the update on the site says. Strange, though... Infogrames had the rights to DBZ games in America, so did they sell those rights to Capcom, or is this just wrong?

Capcom has said MANY times there will not be a Street Fighter 4, so people let the dream die. Also that picture is a fake.

Please show where it says there will be know SF4. I need proof.
