Havoc: Ok newbies heres some quick tips and lessons. I have played this game for a while and I noticed that I can be beat so you won't have to go threw the same mistake that I did stay away from: Warmor, Lordcyris, Token, Cptn America, Airlock, Boogie, Imagination, Tarkanx, Zing79, badestbatz, leftyfb, baller, blackhawksc. Etc.... I'm forgetting some and the one's on the come up like cyan, and Jr. These guys I can't beat on a normal day I have to sweat just to beat them.
rule#1. Have a strategy{ that be a real strategy not just duck}
rule#2. Learn your keys by hard
rule#3. Learn to play with lag{ i like to play keep away until my hit effect}
rule#4. Eat a bowl of lucky charms{ it helps}
rule#5. Try to stay away from Selvin
rule#6. practice alot before you fight the big guys like barney
rule#7. Quit at the right time don't keep fighting the same person over and over when he has you at an advantage
rule#8. Learn from and about your opponent see what he likes to do alot make a counter
rule#9. I need to take some of this advice
rule#10. The most important rule stay away from <span style='font-size:15pt;line-height:100%'>INC</span>he'll murder ya

thats true i never back down to the fight even if its from a newbie or champ besides thats the only way ill know the strategy to beating some of the champs.

man all i know is i was blown away by these peoples skill

Heh... I may be new to this site, but I'm not new to to the versus series. My friends learned very quickly certain things to do and not do when I first played them in Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (I was well vesed when I started playing them) It is better to lose and learn something then to win and learn nothing.

well my strategy on X-men vs. Street fighter is to be same person that opponent is being with steventhebol and to be non projectile character with wolv-clan2

i just got to get to the top somehow but everytime i get on Imagination has all ready gone up atleast a hundred points. Maybe i have to win against the best more often.

i never played much this time and thats because of the lag so i wont be in any fight ! but i must say im not good to make super out but i can fight till the end and win many fight ! in that case i loses every times cause im not capable of playing with that much lag so befrore saying anything else im gonna wait till anti-lag week ends !

noobs should fight veterans to be more better, that is all I'm saying

Actually, I think it'd be nice for newbies to at least start out on fellow newbies, so that they at least have a chance to test their skills (practice dummies don't count).

Kinda frustrating to go up against a veteran who refuses to let a newbie get in a single hit. What exactly is learned there?

I agree as well. There should be a server for newbies only..... but then people with a little skill who can't play against real players would beat up newbies to inflate their egos.....

i am a very good fighter, too. i dont think i was here at the time this started, but i am one of the best. i am very proud to say that i made it to the final 4 in today's tourney. if you ever redo that post, add my name.
