who would win if ryu and ken had a round who would win

If each player doesn't use either character it's Ryu obviuosly, he won the tournemant against Sagat in street fighter(the first game ever for street fighter), Ken entered it, but he didn't win the champpiionship, and also, X-men vs. street fighter, Ryu has the shiknu hadoken, which is very big, but ken can't do it, Ryu trains, but Ken slacks off with his family....


So there can be no disputing from what I said(look at the vbery top of what I said).

Well I am better with Ken then Ryu. Remember TarkanX... THIRD STRIKE! Ken is faster and hadoukens don't mean crap, so in some games Ken is better.

If we looked at it in realism mode, Ryu will win, and if I'm not mistaken, Ken lost a match to Sagat which Ryu won, and no I'm not counting street fighter(the first one)

and ryu fights anyone
so the skillz and determination are different for both ryu and ken
if u look at it the way tarkanx is
ken is used to the rules
and ryu fights without rules
its like in rocky 5 where rocky (who learned how to fight in the street) fights tommy gun (learned to only box)

Idiot, Ryu didn't teach Ken shit. THEY WERE TAUGHT BY THE SAME PERSON DUMBASS AND THEN THEY MASTERED DIFFERENT TECHNIQUES! Fine TarkanX, realistic. There are no fireballs, hurricane kicks or uppercuts. KEN will win that, because he is faster then Ryu.

realisticaly, Ryu would win because in real life people dont have hp. So one hit from ryu could kill ken, and ken can punch his arm twice? Come on!

I considered that in my evaluation. In that case Ryu kicks straight up then back down and ducks wont matter.

well here's the truth, no story line crap, no personal opinion (cause i'd say ken by far) for XMvsSF heres how it is...

Ken - Definately the faster of the two, his dragon punch is more powerful, his spin kick is faster, has no delay, and chips much better... and his supers have NO delay!... definately the coolest trait in the game, #### w/ charlie fastest recovery crap.... ken can do a super in ryu's face after getting hit by a hadoken w/o ryu being able to block, now thats one #### of a trait...

Ryu- definately stronger, he's a great newbie character, his moves are easy to pull off, and his super whirlwind kick does awesome chip damage, very awesome.... his shinku hadoken is an excellent air combo finish... which is something Ken is lacking, a air super...

Conclusion-
Ryu's overall equal to Ken... but, not at a mastery level.. i've never seen or heard of a mastered Ryu beating a mastered Ken at the arcade, never, and i used to play this every Saturday, for hours.
And i think we can all agree to my statement, because its very truthful, and not opinionized.
and please stop this thread because you guys are just gonna fight over some stupid storyline, which is useless.
