Not many people have noticed but the trajectory of these fighters projectiles are very much alike. What I mean is that they have the same kind of fireballs (except different looks of course) :D
But what I want to say is that as a spidey user u r always at a disadvantage when fighting evil ryu. What I mean is that you have a shorter web sting that his air shinku gou haduken.
The only way I know how to counter this is to stay close to evil ryu no matter what hit him with all you've got staying very close to him. Cause if you are trying to fight him fireball for fire ball you might end up loosing considering the fact that he has a longer special move. I just wanted to ask if anyother person has a way of countering this disadvantege spiderman has against evil ryu?

From what i have experienced.
Spidermans web balls are BETTER then E.Ryu's hadokens...aerial or ground based.
Plus Spiderman has WAY better hang time. :D

TMyApp once reffered to Spidy as a "Ryu killer"..from what I've seen it true. :)

As for the "short websting"...it may be "short" but it "hurts like hell".
It appears to do as much damage as E. Ryu's aerial super.
Sure..it's "shorter"...that just means that..YES you do have to stay within a certain range of Ryu/E.Ryu in order for it to be effective...or any move for that matter.

One way to avoid E.Ryu is to use Spidermans aerial hang time to Spidy's advantage...Other than the Shin Sharooken..E.Ryu is totaly at Spidermans disposal with aerial attacks.

You're very correct that thing hurts like hell. Even more than the maximum spider although I must say that since spiderman was tweaked I do not think he's a ryu killer. All you need to do is time his moves correctly as spiderman is very good in the air and hit him with air hadukens since ryu air fireballs are straight and fast.
But no one can disagree with the fact that spiderman is a wolverine killer ;)

well just wait till wolverine gets directional drill claw(and sped up for god sakes) and fatal claw.

then we fight.

dont forget sentinel force high, it has a better advantage than medium sentinel force.

when wolvie gets all of his moves (direc drill claw, fatal claw, weapon x) i will be one of the best wolvie users... just you wait... lol

It would be nice for wolverine to get all the new moves and all but for now I think we cannot disagree with the fact that he's at a little disadvantege to spiderman but sentitel cab do a little damage to spiderman.
But the topic was about spiderman and evil ryu.... What do you think if an A.I matchup were to occur??

I beleive a duel between solidsnake and kingryu will be in order, and will be great to know the result! :buttrock:
