I'm the founder of the Project X you're talking about.
After having someone post on our board about this Project X (and being rude about it too. Come on. Not necessary) I have looked this up.
Before calling us rip offs and suchlike, please check us out properly. The only real similarity is in the name, and that is not copyrighted. At least by you guys. :)

No need for an inside job JB, the other Project X is rather different from this one. Basically, they're trying to create playable X-Men characters for Mugen that heven't appeared in any other games. I remember their projects include; Nightcrawler, Bishop, Nate Summers etc. If any of you have Mugen, you'd what I'm talkin' about.

Maybe I should have given some explanation? I was searching a board for some MUGEN Characters and such, and saw the post "Project X", so I checked it out, and was like hey cool, they have the same name, so I posted it.

That is all, I never said they are better or you have to choose sides, they make X-Men characters for MUGEN, not a Shockwave game of X-men Vs. Street Fighter. So you can come here to play this, and go there to download their chars if you play MUGEN.

Thee way whoever posted that "I'm looking into the creator of the other Project X": What are you thinking. They aren't people trying to make a game that will make you look bad. Yeah, that's what they're doing, it's all part of a sinister scheme. (laughs)

Hey, if anyone needs to ask questions to get over their prejudice, I'm happy to answer any.
Project X is a group of us who are using MUGEN (an engine that allows you to create characters and suchlike. look it up at www.elecbyte.com) to create X-men2. We are editing characters such as Cyclops, Rogue and Magneto into other characters, and the end result should be a good game, that you don't play online.

Yup. MUGEN's free to download (at the moment) and all the characters and extra things will be too. You can't play against anyone else online though, so that's what's great about this Project X. hmmmm, wonder if it's possible for you guys to use our characters........

alright i got a question i have millineum microsoft computer and i want to play downloaded game engines like MUGEN and DirectX which program shood i go to.

you've got to try and explain yourself better here. Which program? are we talking about Mugen? Cos you need to get Mugen for windows then.
