I was wondering is possible to program this same game using flash?
|
This is up to TMyApp to decide. He made the game under Macromedia. He COULD do it under Flash. I'm not sure why, but he didn't.
I personally don't think he will re-write the WHOLE game for flash. But hey, you never know. But i don't think so. |
Thanks for the reply. I'm new to flash programming and wanted to know if it was possible. Thanks.
|
i know it isn't possible
1) you can't put a chat room in a flash game 2)you cannot play with 2 or more people in flash unless they're in the same room, that is unlikely 3)it will obviously lag a whole lot with all the characters and there moves well these are the reasons that i can think of but i know there are more. atleast it was a worth a try asking eh? |
So shockwave is the way to go for making games?

For making flash games, yes.. mostly everyone who makes internet flash games uses Shockwave

wow it's seemed only bobby knew what he was talking about there, i don't know any macromedia programming language, but i do n=know that flash is much different from shockwave. for starters, to change a program into another language is slow and monotonous. you have to first change all of the code to psuedocode, then translate it to the code of the second programming tool. i don't even think flash has collision data, and therefore it would require to be made in different weird ways. it's almost like trying to change c++ to vb...
