I sort of am a trash talker who can back that up in Toronto. I use storm and Akuma, beat 20 people, then beat the game with no quaters. I don't give out respect here, because I don't think anybody here can actually show one percent of their talent. So please, please, stop making stupid tributes, because, hey. I hate to be this harsh on a good player but the xm vs. sf series and its incarnations are a joke!...It allowed button mashers who lack any real skill to go through the game, without loosing. The better button masher you were, the better you were at the game....Ive seen friends of mine who would burn a whole in the arcade board with their mashing kick my ass, and destroy the AI characters...but get them back home playing a SF game, where button mashing was useless, and they couldn't even touch me (and I mean that litterally).

and as far as this game, its no different than the arcade...if you can button mash here, you can do resonably well in it...theres no skill in calling in a helper with a couple of buttons out of nowhere to do damage... :biggrin:

How?? Akuma in Street Fighter 3: Third Strike has the supers of Marvel vs. Capcom 2.

2 things. I think that helper thing is cheap so I never use it. Second thing. No one uses it against me, because if they do I will do a super and make both characters lose some health.

yeah, they aren't really competitionABLe games, but i think x-menvsSf was the game that required the most skills. MvC2 is a helper and keep away GOG(game of garbage).

Plus there are so many different ways to slaughter some one with up to 5 specails No contest i think the fighting engine in MVSC2 is the best all though SNKVS CAPCOM 3 for ps2 and game cube will redefine the vs style

the hardest game to play was sf2 turbo...hands down!

no helpers, no supers, no ONE move that could take away 30-50% of your health..

you had to be the shit to unleash a combo that would take away a ton of health from the other guy...remember guiles 14 hit combo?
