every time im in the chat room a clone of me appears
it says mean things to people, but when i beg it to stop. it wont
is there any way to stop it? :(

1. Someone has a similar name to you and needs to be banned.

2. This is the weirdist glitch I have ever heard of.

those are pple who hack into your user acount info and use ur name. then they tell lies about you. it happen to me a few times and i took screenshots but i lost them. you gotta be careful and the next time take screenshots by pressing alt+printscreen.

um he/she problably copied your name with a upper case i so in reality he/she would be (msk)Biossom and uh i dont think theres any rule against that..but there are measures against ppl who constantly use profanities in the servers.


Solid if you choose to have a lower case L or an uppercase i you will be open to that kind of cloning both the names on your current screen shot are open for that sort of thing. luckily for me I already protected both names. :D

1. There's lots of sites where you can go onto XvsSF
2. He opened up tweo windows
3. He went to two different sites
4. For both of the sites he logged in as his name
5. He went on the same server (1st server)
6. When he gets kicked with one name his other name is still in the server

There i explained it now that will be $5000 US. How will you be paying in cash or cheque? We also accept Visa and mastercard.

if you create a name like mine for example(ver.2) with a lower case "L" instead of an uppercase "I" it will look exactly the same in the servers.

yours would be created with a upper case "I" so in reality it would be soIid snake but it looks exactly the same in the game.

Why did virus even have to explain that? It wasn't very hard to understand...and not as complicated as one you explained it as.

I've had just one imposter, and it turned out be luna. This was the same day in which weezer was "dxzero(moderator)" and luna was the "sex (moderator)" :laugh:

uh its very simple iTALY if you choose to make a name with those letters make sure you protect and create the other version of that name.

Do you honestly think i would have passed up on the name VIRUS jus because someone could clone it....hehehe. I made sure i made the other versions and that i am the only one who can log in as that name or its clones. This actually has a perk to it if you choose a name with these letters and your not to happy with your record you can always have a backup.

And dan you were not the intended audience for that post if you already understood then just skip over it and move on. Solid was the one who asked for an explination.

no u see how my first letter isnt capitalized but my others are.. well its always like that which keeps me safe because everyone knows its always like that in forums in the game ALWAYS

2nd... opening two windows.. three... four... a million doesn't matter... they ALL authenticate throught the SAME server...

3rd... with over 215,000 members, i JUST can't "protect" everyone... the font sux.. i know... and guess what... all fonts have the similar problem...

capital "i" will always look like a lower-case "L" inside the game... u just have to live with it...

(i don't see anyone sending emails to ID because they found someone using the same nick as them on that particular Quake server)....
