according to a REALLY old post, pressing "z" made BARNEY throw a fireball...why was it taken out? it sounds like it could be useful to test reflexes/timings...
ill see if i can find the post link (Edited by viper2040 at 8:54 pm on Feb. 15, 2002) |
Barney attacking...? I posted a topic long time ago that he should be able to "defend" himself, and you just revived the terrorist topic.

man that was a pretty old post.

viper2040: yeah, that feature/bug was taken out long time ago...
but don't worry, i have OTHER plans for Barney (give it time) |
i think i like where TmyApp is going with this. Hmm maybe Barney may have AI (artifical Intelligence)
|
TMy, i was just wondering WHY this feature was taken out. i mean, with it, u could have barney fire as u tried moves at different distances in order to find out how far away u have to be to avoid the shot. that way, ill be able to tell how far away i need to be to do, say, wolvies healing. AI is cool, but being able to manually test the limits could be VERY useful.
|
viper2040: well, i'll think about it ...
|
or maybe it could be both if Tmy Has the time. AI and manual fireballs from barney. A certain button could be use to make Barney go into AI mode and another button could be used for manual fireballs
|
Well, One more thing...
Can't TMyApp just make a new feature which allows Barney to fight back? (And you should be able to turn it on and off). And he could have someone "Very #### Good" at this game fight once and let those be barnies "Moves" to fight back? (Barney should be able to turn around thou if the person comes behind barney... otherwise, barney'll just keep losing.) But I'm not askin for this, it's just a suggestion. :) |
AI is what that would be. :)
