Okay..a certain SFO member came and brought up the making of movies to help out new players in the game... and since Maximumspider.com has made a ton of movies for the game that contains character tutorials and moves, we thought it would be a good venture.

However, a few problems were faced on the way... like the size of the movies and all.. and we came to the conclusion that they weren't gonna be user friendly and thus not good enough for new players to use.

However, I went into further study and found a way to make the movies.. that would be less than 1 meg and be quite explanatory. (which is very difficult to be honest) :biggrin:

It's a sort of tutorial for downloading and playing SFO. And it's in parts. Part2 right after Part 1.... each less than 1 meg.

If the movies are explanatory enough, I could add some tit bits and make it more explanatory with words.. however, We need feedback to make sure that these movies are worth it.

It says my quicktime player has problem, im going to have to download it as SAVE AS.

in windows media it says codec error

well i have made alot of movies with the charatcters to help but that comtasia was messin up my comp to much spyware man

Zing did that about 2 1/2 years ago when he made senshukentaikai.com, it helped out some new players a lot, you could teach them the basic moves for each character (punch, kick, jump, etc...), their specials (hadouken, shoryuken, etc...), and supers. And if you want to go in depth, you could have recorded matches of actual fights, so players learn more on the game, even if their is lag.

umm it appears that i was giving credit for something i didn't do this time :biggrin: well for those that are having codec issues don't just download 1 codec..you should look for a codec pack to download like the "k-lite codec pack" for example...you wouldn't need to worry about codec problems ever again :biggrin:

That's just the point.. We're just trying to find out if it'll be worth creating them and hosting them.. that's all. If the movies are helpful, we'll try and do some more editting and add a little bit of write up to go with the movie :biggrin:
