like i said many times...are you behind a router? if you are than only put a check on old connection mode and that is it...server are busy as hell right now and that's a reason why i haven't tired helpnig you sooner

Well if you dont know what a router is then...anways a router is like a connection hub which lets other connections like your cable modem plugg into it and get access to the web. Mostly use a router if they have a few pcs they need to access the internet. If you dont know what a router is then you dont have one. Im guessing you are on 56k modem if you know what that is ofcourse. Anyhow try changing your port number to what works.

this is weird i changed my port and still i cant play a game. it will only let me play if other people challenge me?? did i do something wrong?

just go to options and click net work you'll see somethin sayin
use port click that and change ur port maybe that will help :buttrock:

you might be behind a firewall...if you are then chances ae you wont ever be able to host so join my club :(

i am behind a firewall but i can toggle it on and off.

takeoff the firewall or ask ur parent to remove it for u.

I have a cable modem and im using a router but everytime i check the old connection box i still can join or anything?

well make sure to only have a check on old connetion mode...if there is a check on proxy at the top uncheck that :biggrin:
