In my opinion I think Ryu is stronger, because I am pretty sure TMyApp made him stronger. So who do you think is stronger?

I think Ryu is stronger, and if he's not then he should be.

i like wolverine, but i think that with wolverines speed and ryus shinkuu hadoken, there really is no "stronger" player

And Ryu is both.. When fighting wolverine i jst like throwing Shoryukens over and over... it bound to hit a but mashing wolvy player.. and what can wolvy do about it ?

I think the healing thing made him handicap.

It's to easy beat wolverine some guys is using wolverine well only use RYU and beat them all in 14 sec

Remember people, in the arcade Wolverine could jump over fireballs.

No they can't do that Selvin y try alwase to jump over a fireball it hit me only, Ryu can jump over a fireball because wolverine don't jump so high

Lol, he can't jump over fireballs. In Marvel vs. Capcom I would own your ass with Mega-Man and Cyclops. Their hard punch shots out a projectile.

on every fighting game i know there is no better characters... just better fighter !!!!

Well, I've mastered the 360 degree joypad turn to a point where I could beat my brother using Akuma with Zangief. But, alas, the 360 motion is quite hard for me to do with MvsC Zangief.

The right player can beat Akuma with ZAngief no problem...

Zangrief is a hard to master character...

Actually from what I have that MvC.. Zangrief was used a cheap zoning character.. In Competions !! in the US...

that's what i meant there is no better caracters just better fighter its not the caracters that make the game its the one with the joystick in his hand ! so even zangief can beat the #### out of anybody its just that the trick of the caracter are out and this a fact but anyone who mastered it can beat anyone in that same game !

Wolverine alone in my opinion has alot of weaknesses but those can be made up for if the person playing him is really good.

Problem is is that if you got a Great Player on Ryu and a Great Player on Wolverine I believe Ryu would win 90% of the time. Wolverine is definately not a character that a beginner can come in and start whopping Ass with. Learning his weaknesses is definately key.

selvin, its simple, as soon as u get in the air, BLOCK till you land right through the fireball (yes sometimes there is a small delay in the block, thats a bit of a bug) but, really, jumping over fireballs is NOT a big problem :biggrin:

to return to the first subject... yes wolverine is not a good carater for a beginner but like tmy said someone who know the art of blocking can pass thru ryu cause it simple ryu is just like everyone said a fireball car... so if you block you can be able to pass thru and that's why helpers are all about helpers is supose to give u the time to pass thru and beat up the opponent so there is no point saying wolverine sucks cause he has his advantage and ryu has is !!!

Who here plays Marvel vs. Street Fighter. Do you notice that the Weapon X can go into a single Hadouken and still hit the Weapon X??
