Ok, I guess I can help a little bit. The answer is Experience. You can't master soemthing unless you work hard to do so. I can tell you one thing that I use...here goes...

The main feature that I use is the 'Filters'. Try workin with 'Clouds' and 'Difference Clouds'. Go to Image - Adjust - Levels and mess around with it..change the colors with the 'Color Swatch'. After that just play around with the filters...add some waves and wind..and so on...have fun!

Alex just stay on your level, don't jump a head of everyone. I seen your tags and i'm not erally feeling it.
It took me about 2 months o get my gfx styles.
