So...I'm guessing, that you all are avid gamers, am I right? Well I've seen small topics on this before, but lets see who is the ultimate greatest villian of all time!
I'm sure you have all locked horns and defeated many games main boss, but which tops them all? Give me your opinions, and then I'll follow up on seeing who is the greatest. Things to think about: - Who as the most "emotion"? - Who is "driven" the most or has the best reason to be evil? - How difficult the boss is to defeat. - How "cool" he looks in general. - How powerfull his attacks are. - How he treats his minions or everyone else. - Who you remember the most. - Is his name cleaver? Thinks to disregard: - No matter if the game was good or not, was the boss? - Graphics. It's totally possible that a NES boss could be much better then any PS2 / XBox / GameCube boss...don't pick a boss because of better graphics. - No biasism! If you are a Final Fantasy geek, sure, you'll like the bosses, but don't disregard other great bosses as well. Now...tell me some of the bosses you've faced, the greatest...what game they are from, and a little about them, and I'll do the rest ;) |
Probably Neo Angelo in Devil May Cry 1.
. The guy isn't really emotional and rarely shows emotion, although he does laugh at you sometimes. . He doesn't exactly have much reason to be evil except that he hates his brother and wants his amulet. . He's not particularily hard in any of the 3 boss fights but the last one can be slightly tricky. . Now this demon looks cool with his sword that glows blue when he slices you and that cape. . Some of his attacks are powerful but the most powerful ones give you a chance to escape before getting hit by it. . Minions, well he was only the right hand man or devil for Mundus and you never see him with minions, but in DMC 3 while he had his human form he doesn't really show much for his minions and even kills a regular bad guy in the game. . I'll remember him for a while. . His name, well I dunno how vergil turned to Neo Angelo so I guess its not that clever. The real reasons why he's my favourtie boss are the epic fights with him. He;s such a rival to you in the game, every move you have, he has one for it, and times where you clash swords make you feel so satisfied. The music was class too. Edited By alamgir on 1110923143 |
Mother Brain from Metroid is cool. I mean, the whole idea that a brain is connected to a database controlling mechanisms around it.What a shocker that must of been for every gamer in the 80's approaching that thing.
And that protective glass casing Mother Brain is in... now that is style. |
Dr. Robotnic
Quote:
- Aims to rule the world and turn every living thing into a robot - You ever played "Death Egg Zone" on Sonic 2? - Well, he aint all that cool, being fat and cant run, but he does have a big moustach. - As the level progress, so does the armorment and strenght of his death mobiles he uses to try and kill you, otherwise, a simple hit could cause internal combustion in him. - He respects those who does a good job for him, or just turn everyone he can get his hands on into a robot. - Right now, i can only think of the fatass genuis who gets his ass kicked by a rodent. - Well, his name does suit him in a way, via what he loves to do. I'm going to have to go with The Boss from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. There's way too many reasons to list, but anyone who has ever beaten the game should share the understanding.
|
i can do that, how can i forget her?
- She's.... sum1 help me out. - She was on a mission that was flawed, and had to die - 10 mins to kick a woman's ass who can put u down on the ground in 3 and dismantle your gun 15 different ways..... - When she gets into her stance, vicious..... - If your not quick enough, she break all your bones and kill you in mere seconds - She's "the damn boss". step out of line and you wish you were never born - Now i remember the boss. - Yes, for what she does, 'The Boss'.... and then theres volgin, but he only got strenght and ambitions, he nothing like the boss. |

He was powerfull... And final Fantasy bosses..like the one in 2/4..lol |
What about Kefka from Final Fantasy 6? He was pretty evil...killed the emeror...had alot of emotion, you just "hated" him!
And then the boss from Ninja Gaidan...HARD! He was cool too, leading up to him LIKE A MOVIE...he had ultimate plans.... And who could forgot the boss from Samuri Showdown? He was hard, and his weapon was that cool floating orb...what do you think? They worthy? |
Some off the bosses in Tenchu 2 were cool. Any1 ever play that? i got master ninja on the last level. O_o
|
I played Tenchu 2 pip..I thought I was the only one that played that....
Yes Warmor Kefka...was a beast....for a final boss as far as his storyline goes... In that game if you weren't atleast at 1,000 hp when you fought Atma Weapon The first time..man that would be a long battle.....A tough one(Spoilier=Unless you drain it's mp...but if not it's a true battle) Ninja Gaiden was boss... And Samuria Showdown..was untouchable.. Edited By SBYRD5 on 1110950892 |

|
In mgs1 liquidsnake was a tough for me. That piece of crap would not die. urgh..
|
hmmmmmm :huh2:
Final Fantasy VII (my best video game): Arme emmeraude: Its very difficult and long to beat this arm. Megaman X4: The last boss: 3 transformations :Oo: I beat him with Megaman and Zero. |
Sorry for my 5 months long absense (Although I wasn't missed =( ). I'm back (for now) =>. Anyway, if anyone knows about the game "EverQuest Adventures:- Frontiers" for PlayStation 2, they'd already know that the toughest boss in there is Lord Nagafen. Since its an online game, he/it 's pretty tough to kill.
Description - Red Dragon. - Has an area of effect spell that can kill/weaken anyone close to him. - Attacks the same way you'd expect a dragon to attack (Slashes, breathes fire, etc.) He requires a guild/clan of about 40+ people to kill. The people must be at their max lvl, it's very difficult to kill him if there are people lower than the max lvl (60) to kill. He's a tough boss I guess. |
......
Legend of legaia... The Dicardo's or something good fights... |
ooh that guy from eternal champions that light orby guy.. man he was very annoying.. he'd switch styles at the drop of a hat.. Once u think u got him going.. "Pow" he busts out wit sum new stuff that you wouldnt have expected. :O
|
The Knights from LOZ:ALTTP.
Who can forget them, all their moves are together, You can only take them down by arrows And after you take all but one down, that one works like the whole team! Who can forget them? |
For coolness id go , Sephiroth form f7
And for toughness id go, Ozma, f9 |
The forgotten one
Castlevania: Lament of Innoncence that friggin monster kept growling and the long stairway.....that's classic it just makes you want to use your wolfs foot and go raise hell |
