what pistons had no chance? yea i guess thats why spurs couldnt even get a lead almost the whole game. damn trem dubya tee eff is up with u? u dont gotta be so hard on the pistons. poop i hate the spurs to death but look im over here congratulating them.

Y2J2005 06-24-2005 08:00 AM

Spurs, put the Mackdaddy on those Pistons son. But no doubt, Detroit kicked that Ass when they hit that floor. Good Job Spurs, but a greater Job to Detroit for outstanding Sportsmanship. Keep it up Spurs.

Master_Jay 06-24-2005 08:17 AM

I knew Spurs had it won from the start.

gieandfer 06-24-2005 09:39 AM

well think about it. if they didnt have their precious robert horry in game 5, the pistons wouldve been champions

Bob~Marley4004 06-24-2005 10:46 AM

Yup.. Spurs won, as I have said they were going 2 anyway..

No way in hell Pistons was going to beat Spurs 2 games straight in TX .. lol, that's a joke. But man, everybody step up on the Spurs team.. definately when TIM DUNCAN HIT A 3 POINTER.. I was like .. O_O .. but mad happy. We just went 3 pointer crazy out there in the few last minutes of the game.. and then put a lil dunk in there by Manu. Ahh, I know it was over then. Pistons just gave up after that, even though Piston fans thought that had something when Rasheed hit that 3. But when Spurs offense step up, they defense step up.. and that was it

If it was the shot he hit from the right side of the arc, then it wasn't really a 3. It looked like a 3, but his foot was on the line.

Shinatsu 06-24-2005 12:10 PM

ole to the spurs!

MEGA_DRACOS_XRL 06-24-2005 12:24 PM

its all chauncey billups fault and i dont care what yall may say. he made that stupid full court pass which was an obvious turnover and a start for the spurs comeback, he shot that careless three with bruce bowen right on him. and if the pistonsjus made those shots in the first few minutes of the game like the layups and stuff, they couldve won. and tim duncan and robert horry cheated. and manu and parker always do layups anyways

TremulantX 06-24-2005 01:11 PM

ok ok i give sum props to the pistons but i already knew it was going to game seven and i already knew the spurs were gonna win..... we never let a loss in Texas go un-avenged! but i already knew they were gonna win way back in the conference finals..... but yea props to pistons for making it to the finals "again", but man u gotta hand it to my BOYS the spurs!!!! :D o and gie, how do u cheat in a bball game fulla refs?? unless ur talking about that wack .4sec win last year from the Fakers.... lol

u better take that back. i am from LA so dont mess with the lakers

dont tkae it too personal; i was jus jokin. but seriosuly dont mess with my boys the lakers. well as the cheating goes, robert horry didnt hit his face he just faked it, the refs made fake foul calls on the pistons, tim duncan was kept fouling when he was posting up, yea u can say they cheated. now dont get me wrong, i also grew up in houston and would like the rockets to win but i guess i can live with the fact of the spurs winning even though i hate them. i know how texas is and its pretty cool :;):

Obi Wan Ginobli, Used The Force The Whole Game, And Tim Duncon Hit A 3, And Well The Spures Wanted It More Then The Pistons, The Pistons Could Have Destriod Them, But Just Like The Eagles In Football, They Didnt Want It That Bad, But Anywho, Im A 76ers Fan, and When The Pistons Eliminated Them I Was Like Go Spures.

blanka09 06-24-2005 01:58 PM

gieandfer, you're wrong. Get your facts straight about Chauncy Billups. In THAT particular seires Chauncy, in the last 4 games had 33 assists and ONLY 4 TURNOVERS. That's including the finals.

Of course he struggled scoring in that game, but don't blame him for Detroits loss. San Antonio beefed up their defense in the 4th quater and that led to Detroit's scoring drought. At a point in time Rip Hamilton was 1 of 7 and Rasheed Wallace was the only person scoring for the Pistons. I sayy the Spurs out played them, it wasn't like they performed poorly or whatever

Besides, what's ur point on Tony Parker and Manu always doing lay ups ?? Aren't you supposed to do whatever you can to make ur team win ?? Should they just shoot jumpers to approve some sort of "phantom dignity" in the game ?? That's _!@bullpoop. The game was played fair and square, and even Rasheed Wallace pulled Horry into a travel, no one complained.

I sayy it was a fair "low scoring" game all around, and the better team won

Vash 06-24-2005 02:06 PM

I knew spurs was going to when yes!

im not saying chauncey billups is bad im just sayingits his fault the spurs caught up and made their comeback.

and zerocloud quit flipin around with the lakers. they might suck but i bet they are better than u

blanka09 06-24-2005 04:05 PM

That's actually false too. You can't blame the come back of a team on just the point guard of the other team alone. It was just "the flow of the game". In basketball one team gets hot and the other gets cold.. kinda like a cycle

And unfortunately for the Pistons, the Spurs got hot at a very bad time for them.. and when THEY got cold, they couldn't recover... so yeah

I don't think it's just Billups fault that the Spurs came back.

AnimeGirl4evr 06-24-2005 04:13 PM

obviously the lakers are better than him.. =/ but it was obvious that the Spurs were going to win

gieandfer 06-24-2005 04:40 PM

no it wasnt. damnit y yall keep sayin that? if it was obvious they were gonna win then they wouldve been ahead the whole freakin game. but they werent.

and yes it was billups fault. he made that long pass and he knew it was gonna get turnedover but i guess he just didnt wanna win that bad

TremulantX 06-24-2005 06:30 PM

it's true rasheed wallace was the only pne scoring for the pistons but did u catch that lovely block near then end by bowen then bam!! manu, lay up!! I love My Spurs! Wooo Wooo party 2morrow @ the riverwalk/margaritaville!!

Yeah, that block was awesum

In anycase, I'd just sayy stop blaming chauncy. It wasn't their series to win. But I respect them for having coming thus far after what happened in the middle of the season with the Pacers.
