Saijin_Ryu 11-23-2004 12:06 PM

I made this topic after viewing Kesters- topic about Metal Gear Solid 3,
Where he felt he experienced one of the greatest moments in 'his' gaming history,

i myself failed to believe that any new game could surpass my greatest experience in gaming history.

For me my greatest moment would have to be...

Right at the end of Final Fantasy 7, seeing cloud perform the Omni-Slash for the first time upon Sephiroth.

I must of seen that clip dozens of times, truely awesome. =D

but what would be your greatest moment in gaming history ?

Probably the part in MGS 2 when you fight alongside snake in arsenal gear.

Kingryu1 11-23-2004 12:39 PM

Completing Halo on Legendary. Dear god that was funny.

marvel911 11-23-2004 12:50 PM

In Super Mario Bros. for the NES. After wasting your time getting those mushroom head people, you finally get the princess.

Saijin_Ryu 11-23-2004 01:20 PM

Really? I could never see Mario as a defining moment in gaming history.

Angel-Eyes 11-23-2004 01:23 PM

playing gtaIII......I was driving in my car on the first island....and I thought to myself:

this is HUGE......when will I run out of space to drive?

Tidus2K2 11-23-2004 01:26 PM

It would have to be Legend of Dragoon, when Lloyd fights alongside dart against melbu frahma. I would define it a bit more but ifg you haven't played this game I recommend doing so. This game is one of the greatest RPG's ever made...*Cough*..better than f7...*Cough*.

I agree...that was great, and I was so excited and thrilled when Dart got the Divin Dragon's powers...orgasmic.

And I do believe MGS3 could have a great moment...all 3 MGS's have been great, with some very amazing parts...I can't wait till I can afford the 3rd one.

Tidus2K2 11-23-2004 02:39 PM

Yeap snake eater looks very nice. Just looking at the cover makes you wanna play it. He's standing with a 9mm handgun. It's prolly a beretta.

dark-guardian 11-23-2004 02:49 PM

When I beat Gandorf on Zelda: Ocariona of time....Still hot game

Saijin_Ryu 11-23-2004 03:18 PM

Yea, ive had alot of good Zelda Moments too... Very well scripted.

Still sticking with my OmniSlash though, that's what basically triggered my love for gaming.

~Mastermax~ 11-23-2004 03:36 PM

the greastest gaming moment has to be when niobe makes out with pheraphone in that poopty matrix game, it was the only redeeming quality in it...

but seriously the best moment was beating all the 9 master robots on megaman 3 then finding out there's more levels :sly: , either that or playing that bugular game for atari and you first sneak past the dog, then you gotta get past the girl in the shower, then you have to get all they're poop before someone walks in, then you sneak out, and watch the fanale of you blowing the house down, and mind you this was all atari gaphics :;):

In a more recent game, fX, I had tears when you were in the Al Bhed "Home", and you and Tidus find out for the first time that the Al Bhed captured Summoners because they would die at the end of the journey, the emotion Tidus had and they way it made me feel was overwhelming. Square always brings out my emotions.

Actually, just watching the cinematic for World of Warcraft made me laugh and shed a tear.

Fighting Neo Angelo all 3 times in Devil May Cry. Those fights were epic, and I quite liked the music too.
