DA_VIPA 10-11-2004 12:29 PM

he died quite young if you compare his death to the average life expectancy. dmx when u die you wouldnt like it some1 did that to you/about you.

_dmx_ 10-11-2004 01:07 PM

ppl like this will always be stupid and never take something seriously...this isn't a topic to throw jokes around in.

Why didn't you mention it then? If someone dies, you shouldn't be all "hahaha" that just shows how much of a child you really are.

blanka09 10-11-2004 03:48 PM

Yup.. pretty darn sad. He was an artist and an activist.. May his soul rest in peace.

And the whole point of him being the "superman" and unable to walk or breathe was pretty ironic.. except, when you look at the way he has tried to move research to help cure ppl that have are facing an illness similar to his.. you'd know he was really a man of steel.

Once again, may his soul rest in peace.

"stop calling him superman, morons"

....only the great archvillan... LEX LUTHER would say a thing like that!

therefore,

darkken == lex motherfliping luther!

andywho,

i liked the guy. he was cool.

i just really dont like the fact no one mentioned when rodney dangerfield died, yet do for this guy.

rodney was around since the day he died, he quit comedy only like a year before his death. this guy, on the other hand has been on a wheel chair forever.

{Predator} 10-11-2004 06:24 PM

[quote:post_uid0="SolidSnake76"]Christopher Reeves, at age 52, superman dead now. its a damn shame.
I'd comment about Reeve, but I believe that Maddox has already said anything I could ever think of.

blanka09 10-12-2004 11:51 AM

No offense Joe.. and even though that guy might have some good points; one being, Reeve didn't really pay much attention to crippled until he became one himself.

Point taken and swallowed.. but who cares?? Why is he obliged to put all his effort and money to the crippled while others don't. Okay.. so if he started when he became one.. the point is.. he did it. And if he had benefited from it.. then so would everyone. So who cares about his motives?? The fact is he did it and ppl appreciated what he did.

If Maddox wanted some of the praise Christopher got.. maybe he should have emailed one of the thousands of ppl who thinks he's right an ask for a plate of arse kissing.

No offense though.. reading most of his writeups.. I think he has a very conciet view of the world... believing that if you're not with his idealogies, then you're wrong.

In any case... sure he might have had his own personal reasons for going all out on stem cell research and what not.. but the fact remains that what he did was good. And he will be missed.

That is probably the dumbest thing I have ever read.

When Lisa Lopes "Left Eye" died and then they formed the Lisa Lopes Aids Scholarship Foundation, no one bitched about it. Alot of people would see things in a more serious matter when the action takes place to themselves. It is called "growing up more serious and maturely". So what if he didn't invest more time and money on paralysis before the accident occured. At least he did a good deed and try and make a difference. A difference in his point of view of life and a difference to other people lives. And most obvious if Reeve had said that he would like to live a "normal" life and he wants people to look at the ones on chairs more "sympathetically", then DUH he is not talking about himself. He was more concern about other lives than himself. I have seen many home videos of him and he does not seem like a bad guy at all. Maddox bitching about a man who would like to help cripples, all I got to say is that MADDOX SHOULD ASK THE CRIPPLES WHO HAVE CONTACTED WITH REEVE HIMSELF and see how they feel about Reeve. Most likely, they would send that retarded bitch "Maddox" to hell.

If Maddox is so "ANTI-REEVE" then why doesn't he just shut the flip up and make a difference himself? Instead of being a non social life ###get making dumbass articles about celebrities who most likely would wipe his ass with the dumbass things he got to say.

Racist? lmao. That is his pathetic excuse to make his article look like it is the "bottom line".

The "bottom line" is that Reeve died a great person. And it doesn't take being a celebrity to get noticed that you are a great person when really just the few 5 or 6 people that notices how great you are is all that matters.

blanka09 10-12-2004 12:03 PM

LOL.. Yeah.. that "racist" line was as annoying as hell.. How the hell do you fashion not agreeing with ur hatred for Christopher Reeve to being racist. That's probably the shallowest thing you can say.

I repeat.. that guy passes himself of as an egotistical jerk.. nothing more. Sure he has a way with words.. but who doesn't??

kind of reminds me about that one epsiode on southpark. With him in it when he culd actually walk and pick up a car.

but that was only a silly cratoon. :huh2:

KenDaShoto 10-12-2004 01:26 PM

everyone is always taking death so seriously and i understand y but its supposed to be a happy time when someone dies because they no longer have to endure the pain of the world (unless they go to hell of course) and i dont see anything wrong with joking around about death because its bound to happen to all ofus and i would love for someone to be able to crack a smile when i die but thats just my opinion anyway respect to chris reeves
