this is a debate, a debate on something that is a huge part of our life.... nothing other than VIDEO GAMES!!!! feel free to state opinions,facts,argue,fight..... because that is what a debate is!!! :biggrin: but no flaming on what other people think or say! i'll start off with my opinions on the 3 popular systems of today. these three systems,and its games will be the only games/game systems we will be debating about. here we go!!!!

i own one of these baybes and let me tell you, it is awesome!!!
although alot of people say it sucks there are alot of great games for all of the generas and people of all ages!
xbox is the most powerfull sytem on the market today
and with the killer graphics it is amazing!sure to amaze any one!downfalls-less games than the ps2,big,controlers are big.
but you will get used to it!

i also own one of these, as do alot of you. the dominate system in sales over the xbox and gamecube. with the bst games and best selection out there. im sure it will please people of all ages. it is the next-to-perfect system in my opinion.downfalls-not as powerful as xbox, graphics are not as good as gamecube or xbox.games are easily beaten. besides that it is a great system.

nah..xbox is too huge got good games but not exactly user friendly. the ps2 on the other hand......

The PS2 has the best games and gets some of the "Only on Xbox" titles. i also don't like to support microsoft more than I have to.

ummm i think PS2 xbox may have better graphics but ps2 is better in games and.......

yo i got ps2 and xbox. im a ps2 fan but here are some facts.

xbox has better graphics than ps2 of course. it is a very powerful system that lets you play online games. you can also rip cd's on the xbox.

the ps2 has better games than any other system. just look at devil may cry. the ps2 has online capadibility and its free if you use your own internet. plus the ps2 has some good rpg's. (i cant wait till they finish legend of dragoon 2 on ps2) :D :D :D

gamecube is a little kid system. it was kinda the same for n64 a little bit. the only reason nintendo is in business is because of the game boy advance. they will even make more money on the gaame boy advance sp when it comes out in march.


and ps2 owns in fighting games. but xbox dead or alive 3 is one of the best fighting games out there.

X-Box 2 is gonna flop...it's gonna sell less systems than X-Box.

As for the PS3 rumors...

PS2 has only been out for a year or two. They're still enjoying the successes of the system. Remember, they also said that they were gonna come out with a "N64 DD" add-on system, and they didn't, did they? PS3 won't come out for a matter of years.

I own an X-Box now... it is actually a VERY good system, but currently it isn't doing that well in sales. In Canada it is OWNING everything else because of the broadband coverage up there, and the fact that XBL uses solely broadband connections to result in minimal lag. X-Box still has a chance, but I don't think it'll ever dominate. X-Box 2 (Project Freon) just might be able to gain the upper hand on the PS2 and/or GameCube, but only if Microsoft goes cheesy and releases it before the set 5 year break is up between systems.

i read about that in a game informer mag. sony is planning the PS3, but the question is will they go through with the plan?

ps3, me thinks i seen some pictures of it's early development, but they were prolly fake. and i heard that it can do ALOT of things. like, dvd's, music, internet, etc loadsa things..

hehehehe i have to agree with ya sybrd i like to go old school sometimes. matter of fact i still play ninja turtles and double dragon2. and i read the same thing in a game infromer mag about the ps3 and xbox2. man i think they should just stop with all these systems. i read in a mag that if they keep on making systems and competing like this, then they might stop making games and stuff cause they will go bankrupt. cause they spend a ton of money making a new system.

kk i dunno wat ur saying, I live in Toronto, THE HEART AND SOUL OF CANADA, and sure enough, xbox is not owning anything at all, actually down here ps2 is ruining in sales, xbox is far in second and gamecube is drowning down there in third, but its ps2 by far

yep yep.....Sbyrd ya damn right.....me my fav console is Snes.......it was the biggest console at a time..... I think it was the console that has the most success in the nintendo industry......anyway.......
