That's true, but i just had a problem with sayin someone sucked when you've never heard their music before or even their name. And I've never heard anything about listening to rock music real loud makin ppl crazy....i see more ppl in their gayass Honda Civics blaring their rap more than I see ppl blaring their rock

kind of dumb to say, in rap the beat has to stay the same so the rapper can be on point, if the beat was changing threw the song it would be to confusing. Like redmanand methodman played a prank on luda trying to make him rap. To a song that had no beat and kept changing all the time. When we freestlye it has to be a beat that repeats over and over thats how u can flow with it. And thats why u see alot of Collage/highschool show bands play rap music or older kinds of music, you got to keep a tempo in yo music.

Which brings me to my NEXT point. If rappers knew how to SING and not simply TALK, if they knew how to carry a tune, they wouldn't have to keep the beat boring and repetitive. At least Rock music singers are just that....singers.

And that's pretty much BS about needing the beat to stay the same so the rapper can be on point. Rockers can get their point across with a beat that changes up, and they have no trouble at all staying "on point." Go listen to ANY rock song. Try listening to some Green Day songs off their "Dookie" album, or ANY Metallica or Jimmy Hendrix song...you'll see what I mean. The beat constantly changes, yet the lyrics/point stays on point w/o any confusion (hell, what you said about rap being confusing if it wasn't boring and repetitive makes ME confused). If Rappers could sing, or had ANY vocal talant, they wouldn't need to keep the beat boring and repetitive.

You know why rappers don't do that, even if they knew how? Because if they added a CHANGING beat to their music, and learned how to sing to this changing beat and still keep their point, it wouldn't be rap...it would become Rock.

And my point is that rap can be anything it wants to be to fight music or a deep emtional song. Great thing about it is it can have any one in it. In Rock you dont see the many viedos featuring other ppl like in rap. In bigger business you got, Snoop dogg,Baby,P. Diddy, Mr. Biggs(who is a R&B singer Isley brothers, Jada, Cassidy. Reason is they can all rap in the same song. Rap is best in lyrics, Rock best in music their talent is Playing music. Its like this you made it a hot song I made it a hot lyric. -Um...there are many instances where rock groups collaborate or get together for songs....not as much as rap, but just becuase rappers featuring other rappers doesn't mean anything....it just means that rappers like making "songs" with other rappers

-Rap isn't the best with lyrics, unless you consider made-up ebonic words good lyrics, unless you consider songs about "bling bling" and "move bitch get out da way" and "bitch im gonna kill you" and absolute BULL $HIT like that great lyrics. Rappers rap about....BS. I'll admit, there is a SMALL HANDFUL that have meaningful lyrics, but for the most part, rap lyrics are 100% pure BS.

-Rock isn't meant to be romantic, unless it's SOFT ROCK or EASY LISTENING, which is not what we're talking about. And if you consider songs about banging hot chicks all night long "romantic," you've got another thing coming. R&B is the romantic ####....romantic rock is an oxymoron, like "jumbo shrimp" or "smart French"...they don't go together.

Ok look at Eminem main thing he raps about are other muisc entertainers and his issues in life. And has anyone notice on the Eminem show the main thing he raps about is his duaghter and how much he loves her and cares for her. I mean look he had 2 songs in thier about her.

And like I said, that's only because they like doing songs with other rappers....because they make a song that some people think is great doesn't give them the edge over rockers.

Look at Bono from U2. He brought in MAD people, rockers and rappers and R&B alike to create that remake of Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On" for the WTC tribute.

Yeah, and on the Marshall Mathers LP, he raps about brutally murdering his wife Kim, he has a skit about getting a blow job, he raps about killing people (the song "Kill You" mean anything?) and he raps about being under the influence of illegal drugs ("these drugs really got a hold of me" song).

Not all of them talk about banging chicks....maybe like 95% of them do however. And rock songs can't be about chicks and love? Van Halen's "Without You." Finch's "New Beginnings." All American Reject's "Swing Swing." The Used's "Buried Myself Alive." Or you can go listen to pretty much ANY song by U2.

So, you're pretty much saying that rockers are selfish because they don't have cars as nice as rappers? Maybe because rappers just like to go out and buy a ridiculous amount of cars when they're NEVER gonna drive them and pimp out their houses....then they'll go make a "song" bragging about how good it is to have seven cars and a pimped out house. Could it be possible that rockers....don't WANT to go out and waste their money on cars they're not gonna use? Don't WANT to go pimp out their houses with stripper poles and whatnot, but are just content with whatever they have now?

Yeah...whatever...and you can't even understand the words to the song because his whiney-sounding voice talks too fast. However, Sean Paul videos are also attributed to having lots of scantily-clad chicks dancing....something you said doesn't happen in rap videos anymore. GASP!

Well then there's a big reason you can't be like "rap is better because you can't dance to rock".....because rock isn't engineered as dance music. It's engineered as "music," plain and simple. Rockers don't want losers doing gayass bumps and grinds and #### at their shows.
