Halo 2's multiplayer is amazingly fun, so I vote for it...half life 2 just blows ostrich sack.

half life 2, stunning visuals, scenes, amazing atmosheric conditions..

dubya tee eff how is metriod prime 2 a wannabe, it was announced before halo 2 and halo even copied a boss off of it, but other than that i would say halo 2 is better because half life 2 to me kinda killed the series...

Wait, lets see, your right but i said Half Life 2 and CS uses Half Life Tech. and CS has different tactics like when you get killed you have to wait till your team wins for a respawn.

Back to The Halo 2.

It has multiplayer something Half Life doesn't have and Half Life 2 has the same graphics as Half life Source. No difference.

Half-Life 2 handsdown. Not only does HL2 have a better graphics/physics engine but the single player mode soars above any other FPS. Halo 2 is just good for multiplayer...nothing else. I have both of these games and I have to say Halo 2's storyline was very dissapointing (especially the ending). I have not beaten HL2 yet cuz I also have Need for Speed Underground 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3 to try and beat a the same time. Half-Life 2 was definitely numero uno on my list of most highly anticipated games of he year. And HL does have multiplayer Counter Strike:Source. Which has more users than Halo 2.
