Does Internet Explorer crash on you all the time? Does it freeze? Does it just generally mess up? I know it does. What if I told you there was a better, faster Internet Browser? One that also doesn't have the same holes that IE has that lets in Spyware and such? Yup, there is. It's called Firefox. Get your free copy here:
http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ Like the way IE works? Well you can download plug-ins as well. They range from all kinds of things...even to making it look JUST LIKE AND ACT LIKE IE...so you will be right at home, and much safer. What's more that makes it great...ever hear of the company IBM? If not, I want you to just go to bed where you belong and not wake up. For the rest of us...IBM SUPPORTS FIREFOX FOR IT'S EMPLOYEE'S. How about that? If you work for IBM, and have any issues or questions about FireFox, you can call their IT Support Center, and they will help you with it. They just started this, but out of ALL the IBM employee's, 10% already use it, and that percentage is growing. What have you got to lose? Best of all, the default home page for FireFox is a special Google search page, and everyone knows how great Google is. After I found all this out, and that the internal IBM web site actually has a link to get FireFox, I got it myself, and I'm impressed so far. Give it a try...if you don't like it, you can always just un-install it and go back to IE...you Microsoft loving scum. Have a nice day, and thanks for playing Street Fighter Online...err...sorry, force of habit. |
heck yes.......tabbed browsing is my mom

Ya its alot faster then IE
|
warmor, can i remind yout hat NETSCAPE promised the whole same things and yet failled miserably in being better then IE ?
BTW, if IE crashes on you, then you simply asked too much out of it, cause mine never crashed before and when it does, i know it snot because of it, but because of allt he programs that we installed that do not comply with it ! same as windows ! windows himself do not crash... its the prgrams you add to it that makes it crash ! same goes for IE, the prgram do not crash, your addons makes it crash ! all technician knows that ! spyware's... you're gonna get them all anyway, firefox won't stop them from invading your computers ! you kinow why, because if you get them its because you accepted the files. one browser or another... its all the same ! they all promised and shows better things, but in the end they all fall short before their promise ! just like all ANTI-VIRUSes, they all want you to believe they can get rid of all the viruses but in the end they can't live it up ! |
Firefox is for dirty commies.

but then again most of you are not running a 64 bit OS now are you? |

I still don't see the need for it. Just kinda takes up space in my opinion. I won't get it......for now. |

Well by using Firefox your not supporting a Monopoly. That in itself makes me happy. And I much prefer the pop-up box then the whole "Page Cannot be Displayed" method. And once you experice "Tabed browsing", you'll never go back...it's one of the smartest, simplest ideas around. IE is just a shell, with holes in it. Spyware comes from the internet, and force downloads, not just programs you download. They can go right through IE, Firefox is a bit safer.

Firefox is by far better than IE, with regards to what Karma said. IE doesn't compare to firefox in terms of "stability" and "endurance," firefox is much more reliable than IE.
