I dont have a joystick that would work, also it would be to hard to do moves....So I will say keyboard because it's pretty easy to perform moves.

i like better keyboard

- accurate
- precise
- easier to manipulate
- priority over all other INPUT except for mouse

JOYSTICK
- precise
- if 8-way pad (round) too accurate make it difficult to play games
- if 4-way pad (4 separate arrows) it is accurate enough
- not manipulated easily (one way to hold)
- is almost last in INPUT priority, which makes a delay in response time !

overall... keyboard will always be better !
don't believe me... try playing some fighting game with the keyboard and then play with the joystick you are the most accustomed to. you'll notice how hard you will have problems with your joystick that you didn't have with you keyboard !

my friend and i are about the same in fighting techniques and skill, its almost always 50/50 on a console !
when i left the joystick and took the keyboard.
the role were inversed. but i was winning more because he wasn't accustomed to my GAMEPAD PRO !

so you see, its almost always better to have the keyboard if you want the advantage over a gamepad !

Yes maybe consles have some games that would be better on the keyboard

Key Board for computer: better control. easy to use. (BUT made a few buttons jam) but thats all.
Key board for console: ( Cant explain)

Joystick for computer: really slow sometimes, hard to use when there's lag.
Joystick for console: Maybe they belong together to get more easy control. (With lag or not)

ur stupid karma .. u LIKE keyboard because ur use to it, ur use to play xmen online .. since it doesnt support game pad,

one of the things that keyboard make u a sucky player on fighting games is that if ur opponent is really fast to attack he will attack ur down defence and then ur screwed. ive already tried both (keyboard and gamepad) and i thought that keyboard was better and in a way it is, but playing with a keyboard ur gonna be slow

be4 my skills with keyboard were 40%
now my skills went up to a 90% with a gamepad

so u dont kno wut your talking about gamepad is way better than the keyboard and the ones that voted for keyboard = dont kno anything.. u guys are used to play xmen online thats all

try something different and ull see that in a fighting game speed and skills is what it counts ..

sk8erfox i agree with u 100% the keyboard is difficult cos it takes u like 5 goes before u can get a quarter circle move when on a gamepad u do it first attempt i got xmvssf on psx and i counted how long i could keep doing hadoukens for and it ended up being like 13 mins or somtin
and on a gamepad dragonpunches are easy and come in very handy i use dragonpunches all the time but i can hardly ever get it on the keyboard.

if i had a six button gamepad for xmvssf online id go to rank 1 within a day

pip he might be right. u never kno if ppl is good till u play them and i might get banned for saying this but xmen(project x) lags and u cant do any combo. A REAL COMBO not like just smashing the keys

if u ever play mvc with me dude u would get owned . or on xmen without the lag(project x) even ask haomaru he played me .. i owned him, ive played tarkan x he quit on me , asshole, dx zero ,etc.
