I love how almost everybody at one Point was into saying "flip THA GOVERNMENT", but goes to see tha foreworks every year on 4th of July and feel like a kid again!

eventhough i'm canadian...the same can be said about some of us as well...
they say...the government is takign our money...but go right to Mel Lastman Square for the fireworks.. it doesn't really work does it? lol |

Don't take what i said the wrong way.

I'm so punk that my neighborhood doesn't allow fireworks to go off, but no body cares and we do it anyway!

Wow, I'm sick and tired of you VF saying how much America sucks. America may have it's flaws but there's freedom of speech. If it sucks so flipin' much then why don't you leave...you don't seem to do anything but complain like an ass. I dare you to leave to somewhere like Korea and say how much Korea sucks and see how long you live.
Wow, I read the Narrative of Frederick Douglass too and he doesn't complain he actually does something. He worked for the Underground Railroad. And when he got beat up by a bunch of white sailors he didn't just say "Aw, poo America sucks. I hate it. I'm going to my room and whine about it." No, he didn't. He did something about it...he was so inspirational Abe Lincoln noticed him. And he helped changed the nation. America has came a long way from there. And you only look at all the flaws and you do not see the long journey it has gone through. If you would like we go back a couple centuries back to slavery...America would truly suck then. Things take time if you are not willing to wait then do something about. As for the fireworks. Yeah it really does suck that some people only see it as "Ooo pretty fireworks" but that's mostly because they are ignorant. The bad thing about America is that we make every single holiday a commerical holiday...and people forget the true meanings of things. |

You would not have only be arrested but you could of been killed...and tortured before that. IF and only IF you made it out alive you might have been missing a couple of limbs. And if the police officer truly did do that to you for that reason then you should of told someone. I |
I could not light fireworks because my dad was acting like a cheap ass this year so I went over to my friend's house and we all poped firework's with them.

Gawd why did I take this up...I don't have time for this...but anyways...I'll try and take this back up over the weekend....and I would just like to say um quit putting words in my mouth VF...I never said this country was perfect nor did I say it was great. It has its issues but to bitch about it like you do is just annoying. When it's because of this country and it's laws that you can talk about it like this...What made me mad is that you live here and you talk poop about it like it was your dead beat dad...when it was because of America you are able to go to school for free, get medicine for free, get welfare even though some people don't deserve it and even talk poop about it like there's no tomorrow...just because you can doesn't mean you should...
