Exactly what it sounds like: Venom can shield himself from Spider-Man's spidersense. If Venom is behind Spiderman about to attack, Spider-Man can't sense him. This is stated in the comics. The alien symbiote that Eddie Brock is bonded with was once bonded with Spider-Man, and the symbiote remembered that spider man had a spider sense. When it bonded with Eddie Brock to form Venom, the symbiote had the ability to shield itself (and Venom) from the spider sense, so that Spiderman can't sense Venom at all. Carnage can do the same thing too.

Venom and Carnage's alien symbiotes (and themselves too) have only two weaknesses: fire and sonics. Sonics, as being EXTREMELY LOUD, concentrated sound waves. Peter Parker uses the loud ringing of the chapel's bells to rid himself of the symbiote, and Reed Richards builds a weapon that can concentrate sound waves to the frequency to keep Venom under control.

However, any loud noise won't work. They have to be either VERY loud (like right next to the outside of a Boeing 747 on takeoff) or concentrated (like a gun).

Sure, Carnage is a copy, but he's a superior copy to Venom.

And look at my last few posts...I explain why in a fight, Carnage and Venom would each own Spider-Man. Carnage would also own Venom. It's fairly simple...I'm just not gonna repeat myself more than I have to...

And everyone keeps saying "Spidey because of his speed." Venom is just as fast, if not faster than, spiderman.

i know all this too. symbiotes are weak to sonics and fire and this docter[not sure who] told parker to get it off cause it was bonding fast. the thing almost took over him when it push shocker off the chapel balcony, but luckly, spidey got it off thanks to the bell. then the thing bonded with brock and started playing games with spidey. venom, as he called himself, almost reveiled his true identity.

i saw the cartoon. and Cletus Kassidy aka carnage, i just learning more about him. all i know is that when venom escape from colorado, he also made his offspring and let it take over kassidy who was also in the complex.

i'd say Venom he's got all spidey's powers (including the spideysense) and a few xtras.

No. In "Amazing Spider-Man" #347, Spider-Man and Venom fight on a deserted island. Spidey, being the wuss that he is, decides to avoid fighting Venom and fakes his death (he rips up pieces of his costume and put them on a skeleton) while he makes his escape from the island. Venom sees the skeleton (months after he lost track of spiderman on the island), thinks Spider-Man is dead once and for all, and attempts to remain on the island to live out the rest of his life in peace...until Spider-Man comes to tell him that he's not really dead, and tells him about Carnage... (Amazing Spider-Man #362)

o man... i jsut remembered an episode i nthe cartoon. venoms black tar stuff got on to spiderman and spiderman became the venom.. he had the black suit and everything. spiderman having venom's powers made him very aggressive and increased his strength incredably and spiderman could defeat all of his enemies with no problem. so with that now i change my mind.... venom wold beat spiderman ....venom in the cartoon was weak when it comes to brains but if peter parker was venom venom would be unbeatable

The Spiderman episodes are garbage. It's like the DBZ anime and manga: The Spiderman comic books are the true authority. Anything that is only on the cartoon and not in the comics never happened. That fight you are TRYING to tell me about (i can't understand it because it's a paragraph-long single sentence) never really happened. Let me use an example:

In the comics (which were written and drawn LONG before the cartoon came out), Carnage was created when the symbiote rescued Eddie Brock from prison. It left a small seed of itself in the cell, which merged with Cletus kassidy and formed Carnage.

In the cartoon, an alien from outer space teleported inside Cletus Kassidy's prison cell and GAVE him a symbiote.

Now what are you going to believe? A comic book created by Stan Lee himself, edited by Tom DeFalco and written by David Michelinie? Or a cartoon created years later by FOX Kids TV?

i think spiderman will lose against carnage or venom but venom can draw with carnage becos they had a bit of a fight in the cartoon.

The cartoon doesn't mean anything. You gotta go by the comics. Carnage's symbiote is superior to Venoms in all areas except one: he has a weaker resistance against sound and flame. Carnage can form weapons with his symbiote: Venom can not. Carnage can shoot darts and such from his symbiote: Venom can not. Carnage's symbiote even has the ability to merge with the Venom symbiote and tear it apart: he did this in "Amazing Spider-Man #363", but was cut short when Spiderman kicked Carnage away. Instead of using webs, Carnage uses the symbiote itself. Carnage can extend his symbiote to grab onto far-away things, he can liquify his symbiote (uses this against Gunther Stein in ASM #361, liquifies it and chokes him). Although Eddie Brock himself is stronger, wiser, more experienced than Cletus Kassidy, once their symbiotes go on, Carnage is superior in every way.

Spiderman can't beat Venom. Venom has stuff that comes out of his body, which I think is a great advantage. I love Carnage man, he is my favorite character, muhahahaha... :laugh: But all of them can be beaten by Spider-Doppelganger. He rules, MAN, muahahahaha... :laugh:

The Doppelganger, although frigging cool as hell, would not beat Venom or Carnage in a million years. Even though Doppel has super strength and enhanced versions of all of Spidey's abilities, he's got the IQ of a toaster oven and relies on pure rage and anger, not strategy. If you recall, he only took out Spiderman at the end of "Spider-Man Unlimited #1" was because Shriek acted as a coach, and also distracted Spidey, allowing the Doppelganger to knock him off the building and break his ribs. On his own, Doppelganger wouldn't stand a snowflake's chance in hell against Venom or Carnage, but if he had Shriek coaching him on, it's anyone's guess.

Now, if we are talkin' about a real live Venom and Spider-man, Venom would wax Spidey. Parker is like a twig with no advantage, he'd be crushed. Now, if we were talkin' about in this game then its obvious that venom would still wax spidey. besides having much more effective supers, venom has his ever-elusive venom fang. Let's face it, Brock has everything going for him. (now, for carnage, who knows, i was more of an x-men fan when i was little, but from what Nantuko has said, I'd have to believe him.)

My vote: I don't care

spiderman because the good guys always come out on top.
