When going home on the last day I usually say all the stuff...Happy Holidays, Happy Chanukah, Happy Kawanza, Happy New Year, Or just Have a good Vacation. And like VF said it does seem like you are saying flip you if you don't like what i'm saying...which to me isn't right. we're not trying to change the name of your holiday - it will still be christmas. It wont be called chanuka, kwansa, or anything.
we merely want to intercorrperate all of our religions into the same SEASON. so this won't be known as christmas time, it will be the holiday season. you will still get your damn tree, and your dam presents. you will still get the chubby you get from knowing you're a majority. the only thing is that those who are misprepresented year after year will get their fair shar at their time too. by all the decorations and alll the propeganda related to christmas, it seems like christians rule the world. it shouldn't be that way. this is a nation comprised of many different ways of thinking, many different religion, many different people. we should stop caring about how the majority feels and start beleiving in america as a whole. and if you think that's the normal way someone should act when someone tries to qestion the majority, i dont see bush cussing us all out when we question the republican majority. he takes the chritisism like a man, and works WITH those who are against him to try to come up with a better future. (it ussually never works, but ehh) zpower was basically just shouting the speech of a religiouse extremist. he was saying "down the the rest, all hail the christian race". You need to stop cussing. You cuss too freakin' much and it's getting on my nerves; example calling ppl BI*CHES. I don't see why you need to cuss in this in this post esspecially when it's about Christmas, a religous holiday, which you seem to be apart of. To all you Christian Extremist you need to stop talking the talk and actually open up the Bible this holiday because it does not promote putting down others and their religion. It promotes getting together this holiday and reflecting on the year. To all of you who say Merry Christmas I recommend you say Happy Holidays to those you don't know that well because you don't know what they are. yo I respect every religions........ I have muslim friends, christians, hindu, atheist and all.
I was born around christians so I guess I should be a christian. I wondered sometimes if God really existed or if maybe other religions are really the one. but something opened my eyes and I sticked to being a christian. but I'm not a huge follower. I don't go to church, I don't pray every day........ one thing I hate about people who takes things to far about religion. Zpower for example. I was raised to respect every one no matter what color, sex, religion, believes they have. Now when U go and yell flip every one who doesn,t believe in my god, YOU ARE THE B*TCH. I don't care what your beliefs are but U don't oppose them to people. Even if they want to embrace it, U don,t go and say we're the ish! and you suck!. now, I respect atheists too. They don,t believe in god. Does that make them bad? no they're still the same. but I won't like it if they try to oppose your beliefs on me. I have mine, you have yours, I RESPECT THAT! Now, I, Say happy holidays to everyone. I don,t say merry christmas. I don,t even really am a big fan of christmas. why would one day should be the day to give gifts to people? Nowbefore, I believed it had a deeper meaning than gifts but now, it just became a commercial day. Liek Valentine's day and Eastern and all......... So U should offer candy and flowers only on this day and wait next year to do the same thing? I stopped spending Christmas with my family. they still buy me gifts but I don,t celebrate it with them. This year, I'm gonna spend it with my gf. That's it. Only buying things to her. Didn't ask anything to my family and if they don't say anything, I won't mention it to them. Now New Year is a day I always celebrate! I gotta!
