Yeah this is pretty worrying. The whole underground went down and the worst thing is that no one knows if more explosions will take place.

Well apparently a guy who was wearing islamic dress and who had a beard was arrested for nothing near my area. Thankfully the government's not racist so nothings really gonna happen.

I personally have nothing against muslims or islam, but when these terrorists do their work in "the name of Islam"... then one can't help but raise a few eyebrows about these things.

Ahh the timing of this attack couldn't have been any better. I started work experience this week at Canary Wharf and now the DLR will probably stay shut or even worse is that another terrorist attack might take place at Canary Wharf.

The damage is starting to be cleared and now the authorities are focused on finding the people responsible for this. I'm in Canary Wharf now and we had one of the buildings evacuated earlier after the fire alarm went off, it was something minor but everyone was slightly worried because of recent events. The fact is that they have been respoonsible for attacks like this before and yesterday's explosions had all the hallmarks of Al Queda as well. Also, don't forget that they have said they were responsible for the attacks for revenge on the Iraq war.

Many of the leaders of Al Qaeda have been assasinated and arrested around the world, but none of these assasinations/arrests have proven to come into effect as they're still performing acts of terrorism.

Although they're very stupid and there really isn't any excuse for their actions... I'm 60% sure if someone bombed a city in the name of Christianity, the same thing would be happening to churches.
From what I've heard a so-called "Al Quaeda- Europe" group have claimed responsibility for the attacks and are pointing out Britain's "attrocities" in Iraq to blame. In my opinion that has to be the most foolish and cowardly way to retaliate (even though, reasoning here resonates below every reasonable logic one can describe) Britain's participation in the war. From what I've learnt, ppl from China, Spain and other countries were among the fatalities... what a wayy to retaliate against the brits.. *sigh* |

That site can't gurantee Al Qaeda's involvment though as anyone could have put it up and pretend to be them. I'm pretty sure it is them and don't get me wrong I hate them because of all the crimes they have commited, but there are several conspiracies about how they could have been framed. |

Its true they're killing their own but its because of the soldiers. Some of them are also killing each other because of the split between Shia and Sunni Muslims who differ slightly in their beliefs. Of course this is wrong. Iraqis are the majority? Thats like saying the British people are the majority? Where British Muslims are being attacked. The bombers were also born in Britain. Ahh man Muslims are being hated against here because of the bombings. It'll take so long for something like this to recover and we'll never be looked at in the same way as before. Still, i'm not surprised this country did get attacked. There motives were clear, England helped America attack Iraq and now these terrorists have attacked Britain. In fact all of the countries who have been attacked were involved in the Iraq war. |
