well i was on my bike once and i just had a fight with my sis and so i put my bike togather then with out checking the brake cable i when down my hill i live. on to go to blockbuster but right befor that when i came down i said o snap my brake cable as i saw my life flash before my eyes i saw a bus and well tried to brake i did not work i made a left and well my bike sipped on the pavment and i fell side ways and iam surprised the bus mised me i got lucky my bike got totalled instead of me

Mine was torturing to death.

The first time I moved to Hong Kong, the air pollution was damn high, and I got sick.. Red eyes, headache, stomache, and other pain, I just felt like dying. I forgot how I even got through it =/

this one wasnt really death, but coulda been REAL bad...
crossing an intersection (car), had the green light, next to me, a guy was making a left turn...for some reason, i was driving a tad slow--perhaps 5-8mph under the speedlimit...well, someone came barreling through the intersection at what musta been 40-50mph, and sped infront of me, missing me by no more than 5-6 feet.....the whole world seemed to slow down...saw him hit the car that was turning....shattered glass everywhere, and then the car was gone....not sure about casualties, but i think noone was badly hurt...
HOWEVER, that may be because the car that was making the turn got hit in the rear, passengerside area...if it were me, in my tiny civic, things mighta been much worse....

I have also been electrocuted by a television (was hooking up a coax site adapter), and for some reason, though the tv was off, the coax cable still had enough current to cause my arm to convulse pretty badly...glad there wasnt more current...

Ive also almost killed myself in MANY ways while skiing...but its always worth it...heres a quick pic of me skiing, if you care....

the other about 6 years ago !

i'll tell both...
FIRST:
i was 2, my parent were at my mothers SISTER house. they were conversing in the lounge and i was playing with her lego blocks in rest room ! but suddently my parents noticed that there was no more sounds coming from the rest room, they found it strange since i was a very active child !

when they came in, i was asleep, what made my father alert and wanting to call the hospital as soon as possible ! was the little bottle in palm of my little hand.

i had openned the drawer of my AUNT and i took her bottle of medicine then i ate almost all of them ! lucky me i survived ! the medicine was for people who cannot sleep !

SECOND:
6 years ago...
i was on my bike, it was about 7:50, i was coming back at home...
for some odd reason i tryed to pass between the pavement and a Fountain (you known, those little red ones that dog pee on) i don't know what was going on in my head but i tryed to pass between both.

the front wheel of my bike passed but my pedals never passed then my bike blocked there sending me flying forward ending up head first on the street. i standed up, looked at the bike which was a mess now, it had completely destroyed my chain and my bike pedalling system and since the shock was enough for my bike to fly forward as well, the bike rear wheel was all twisted as well !

i took the bike and got to my home, i was almost sleeping during the 2 street travel. when i got home, i immediately got to my room, sayign good night to my parents. they were watching TV and had their back turned at me. my mother answered me and said good night, then she wondered why i was going in bed at 8 PM. she said, he must have had a great day with his friends. she continued listening to the TV !

the next day, when i woke up, it was 10 AM (14 hours later). i had trouble openning my left eye, i tryed hard and harder until something made a little crack and the eyes openned, it was sticky tho. i was beaten up bad, i didn't even knew if my accident was real or if it was just a dream. i standed up from the bed then noticed blood stains on my pillow ! i said myself, it was real then ! i was wondering how bad was my eye ! i showed up to my parents in the kitchen, since it was the only place with a mirror, i had no choice ! but to show myself up.

my mother looked at me, she was horribly surprised by what she saw. she asked me if i feeled good ? my father didn't even asked anythign , he was just trew off his chairs when he saw me. i asked why she asked and i turn face to the mirror on my side.

i couldn't believe the damage, my left eye barely openned, blooded like hell. my nose was covered by dryed blood. my head was all deformed. i was more looking like a cone head now. it was pretty much damaged to hell !

my mom asked what hapenned and now she knew why i was in bed at 8 PM when i normally was going to bed at 11 ! we got to the hospital and i passed SCANNING test. first time i ever got into that BRAIN SCANNING machine ! the result were talking about the bump on my head being where the blood in my head getting there and staying there. it wasn't a pretty sight, they asked me how many times was that there, i said two days now ! he said ok, we'll keep you here for one more day cause we gotta know if its gonna disolves or if it continu to grow, lucky me it never grew any bigger and actully got smaller and smaller. 2 days passed in the hospital.

if the thing had grew any bigger, the doctor told me he would have needed to operate as fast as possible.

that's the only thing i can think of that were really near death !
i must say that losing two days of school cause of that bump on my head was cool, but i had rather not have that HISTERICAL day when i was back at school with a face all messed up like that !

and that's my story !

heres a stupid one

i was in chicago illinois when i was climbing a tree. i got real real high a sliped. i was sliding down the tree. until a treebrach stoped me by hitting my ballz. i was so lucky cuz someone made me do a dare :D

1 time when i was about 3 or 4 the tv almost fell on me but my mom caught it (lucky 4 me)

One time, at band camp.....When I was in driver training(which is exactly what it sounds like it is.. :sarcasm:) I was at this intersection turning. So, it was my chance to make the turn, so I had checked the mirrors, shoulder, and blind spot one last time and started to turn. Luckily i didnt get up to a decent speed, because out of my peripheral I saw this truck coming, so I just hit the brake and turned the car a bit the other way as this truck just sped right past us nearly hitting us because it was in the wrong lane. I know it dont really sound like much, it was one of those 'you'd have to see it to get the feeling' thing. ;)

Viper skiing...man what about snow boarding....oh well preety cool...

I also have 2 life near death experiences....

First off, when i was at the age of 2 and live in florida...i was outside walking around on the beach. I was a very curious kid that liked to get into everything. Well i noticed a large pile of dirt/sand that was built up. I stepped on it and all of a sudden about 3000 ants crawled up me. Instantly i was covered from head to toe with fire ants. I started to scream and mom came out and threw me into the waters. I still have scars from it (no noticeable).

For the 2nd one, it was when we first moved to Ohio. I was at the age of 4. My favorite thing in the world was those "Flintstone" vitamins. They tasted so good. Well i got my hands on them and hid under the sink...Opened the double cabinets and hid under there. I ate the entire bottle of them. About an hour later mom looked around for me and couldnt find me. She looked everywhere but couldnt find me until she heard a noise from underneath the sink. I was laying there and breathing fastly. Apparently im allergic to large amounts of Aspartame. I was sent to the hospital and nearly died from it. It was a very scary moment for my mom...i hardly remember it.

Well i have one life near death experiences. When i was 9 i went to bangladesh and in my village i went down to the pond (every village has a pond usually in bangladesh) and a giant snake just fell off the tree right in front of me barely missing me! I mean like if i had took one more step which i was about to cause i wanted to do some fishin (first time for me) it would have fell on me. The snake was a python and was about 10 inches thick. Luckily i ran up the stairs when my cousin called for me and the snake just slithered away.

Well, Not so long ago i was making my way back from skool as i usually do with a group of freinds..
so I was walking home but it was only with 1 other freind we went down to this road were we have to cross each day
there is a traffic crossing area but we decided we were too far away from it there was no need.

I stood by the side of the road looking left and right to see if there was any signs of passing cars, it looked clear so i walked out, not realising i was on my own and my freind was still waiting at the road side.
Little to my awareness a car had pulled out of a side road and when i was a few feet out on the road I stopped i dont know why, i dont know how i just stopped, (my freind later said he shouted at me) but before i know it a car clipped me with its rear view window, nothing serious just a scrape
But this could of been much worse if i didnt stop.

Oh and also have had near death experiences Snowboarding/WakeBoarding :D

I had one once. I was walkin down my road to me house,and this dude came outta the woods and wanted time,so i gave him $5.00 and he went away. I saw he had a gun,so i just went along with him.

Just recently while I was taking driver's training some idiot went on the wrong side of the road and almost hit us! :shocked: Luckily he looked up at the last minute and stopped! :biggrin:

Anyway.. I've had some experiences of my own.. though not as serious as some of the ones I see here..
Anyway, here's one
Back at home.. I was in some kinda boarding school where we slept in school, ate in school... pretty much did everything you would normally do at home in school... Although it wasn't as free as a campus :biggrin:
On a cold night.. on the 21st of September 1996, We were awaken by our seniors( who basically run the hostel)
We were told that we didn't do our morning duties and we were punished badly.. kinda like a military thing :biggrin:
Little did I know that the worse was yet to come..
During my first day of school, I was placed in Dalton's house(kinda like clubs) and our main color was Red
During that night, I was wearing my club shirt.. This was about 2 am in the wee hours of the morning.
After all the toturing (seriously.. it was [HELL ) We(my friends and I) were ordered to clean the hostel and take the thrash out ( our boarding house was surrounded by a forest) Kinda like the other sides of the roads you see when going on the Interstate.
Walking through the woods, we got to the garbage can ( About 6 feet tall )
I noticed that at a point my friends had bailed on me and I was the only one there...
Remember at this point, I still had my club shirt on (red in color)
And the school bulls started approaching my side..
At first, I thought nothing would happen as they're normally calm (except moments b4 their execution :biggrin: )
But they seemed agitated when they saw me.. and then I noticed it was my shirt. They came after me...
I ran... at a speed that I had never attained in my whole life.. It was a matter of life and death and not minding where I was running to, I kept running... Until I found out I was deep into the bush and the bulls had stopped chasing me..
I then began to hear strange noises... And as I looked further I saw something strange.. it was moving and floating towards my direction...thinking it was a ghost I began to run..... Some how.. by divine intervention I didn't get tired and by some kinda miracle I found myself in front of my Dormitry.. Not telling anyone what just happened to me, I quietly went into my room straight to my bed and decided to sleep.. Although I fell asleep an hour later because I was really scared...
Only to find out the next morning that the white object I saw was the dormitory prefect's uniform that he misplaced some time ago, I ran for nothing.. but the incident with the Bulls might have been a different story.. basically I thank God for protecting me from those horrible (but tasty) beasts :biggrin:

Huh?

I have a couple life and death experiances but the only one I can remember was the accident.
I was like 4 or 5. My mom was taking me to daycare. I was so happy. We were going on a field trip. We were running late. So my mother rush to put me in my car seat. And I had my little dinosaurus book because we were going to the meusum. So we get to the first light. Every thing is ok. As she is driving this lady comes out of the intersection going the wrong way. I start to yell i know what is going to happen. My life flashes before my eyes. I taste blood in my mouth. My mother hits her head on the staring wheel. My book flew out of my hands and fell to the floor. My mother turns around to see if i'm alright. I'm scared she's all bloody. My mother is ok but she had to have a couple of stiches on her head and knee. I just got a scar on my tongue and memorable experiance.

life near death experience...........well........I got hit by cars so many times that I don't really consider them near death esperiences anymore.........the first time I got it was scary but I walked it off.........the tenth time, I don,t even remember cuz I was drunk........ 4 years ago....... yeah I counted how many times I got it by cars.........10 times...... only 2 times I needed a cast........the others, walked them all off....... :biggrin:
