the all-star game is coming up on February 9th who do u guys want to win. Since im from the east im going with the east all the way. the eat got more fire power... but the west got more defense, it will be a good game.. but allen iverson, paul pierce, tracy mcgrady, etc they gonna destroy the west...

I just watch basketball for the fun of it. Those dunks people do are pretty cool.

it seems unlikely, last year, it seemed pretty even and yet the east was still beaten badly. but the east's got some good ppl this year, vince carter is back and that amare stoudemaire dude's(is he in the allstar game?) not bad.

WOW!!! Vince Carter (Zin79 is gonna kill me for this). I'm from Toronto and when you watch him he is good, BUT he isn't great. He lacks something, T-Mac has it, Iverson has it, Amare Stoudemaire problaby has it. Carter is good, but not great. I'm not sure how he gets so much all-star votes. ???

Machine1, are you kidding me? Stoudamire is the best high school rookie ever. He scored the highest rookie points ever, with 38, and I saw that game. I can't wait to see him in the slam dunk contest. And I can assure you, that West will beat the East in this All-star game.

the only reason vince carter is popular is that he is fun to watch. he keeps on doing these sudden monstrous dunks and amazing plays against good ppl. he doesn't do it on a consistent basis and sometimes he really struggles. that incredible dunk at the 2000 dunk contest really increased his popularity

And how long ago was that?? Three years. All because he pulled off some amazing dunks (even I admit they were crazy) doesn't mean he was a star. Consistency is the key and Carter isn't very consistent IMO.

for once, i can say that the east will cream the west and actually believe it. I've always loved the east the most (Pacers rock after all) and I've been waiting for the east to catch up to the west. I dont care bout Yao or Shaq, the east is gonna be crazy either way.

Beats me about the dunk contest, last years was so dumb with the freakin' wheel. Just let the stars do what they want, not reenact a dunk i've seen a million times!!!! So, if they're doin the "wheel of death" (my nickname for it) even the crappiest guy could win it. It'll be interesting, though.

and vince carter isnt only good , he' s as great as kobe and the others, he isnt only dunks, look when he was out formore than 3 months for his knee problem , his team was losing all the matches, and now when he got back the team in starting to win again, also remember than playoff game against the sixers, he pulled out a 50 point game with 7 3 pointer in a row, how can do that. i can guarrantee that he s whitout no doubt one of the best offensive players in the leage he can go through any deffence, his only flaw is he needs to improve his deffense a little bit.
carter is a great player that s why he get the most votes everywhere , more than that he s the most fun player to watch, what else do u want?
