Well i was just browsing around for my favourite character's Guile and Charlie, when i came across this pretty gruesome image, which i think shows the end of charlie's life in bison's hands..

If anyone has anymore images or story on Guile's and Charlie's tale in Streetfighter please feel free to post them, obviously a big interest to me.

Yeh i was thinking that aswell, but this picture made me think twice, some people say bison killed him? But people also say Bison mutates him.

A bit Confused....but im dont know all the facts about him.

Charlie and his best friend Guile were both on a mission from the U.S. Air Force to hunt down a major drug dealer named M. Bison. They were both captured in Thailand, and both managed to escape their captivity. However, during the escape, Charlie was shot and thought to be dead. When Guile returned to look for Charlie, he was nowhere to be found. In actuality, Charlie did not die, and after waking up, proceeded to find a place to heal his wounds. By the time Charlie returned to the Air Force Base, Guile had already resigned to look for him. Finally, right after finding Guile again, Charlie was captured by Shadaloo (M. Bison's organization) and was turned into Shadow Charlie.
You can't even see him... Charlie was a great design... I guess he was so great that Capcom just had to clone him a bit... But this design miraculously made it into the real storyline, as well as the official Street Fighter Comic by Udon...

in SF2... guile is earching for his lost best friend (charlie) but he wants bison because by what i understood guile think BISON killed CHARLIE or captured it !

but truth is... and gouki2000 was right on this... charlie never got captured nor was he dead...

the story of charlie unfolds in SFA when guile wasn't there...
charlies gets back to the air base but search for guile which is not there but back in thailand so charlie goes for the kill and try to rejoin with his old buddy guile. only to find guile captured by bison. so charlie rescues guile from bison's clutches !

thus ending their little adventures !

i know charlie was turned into shadow, but that is only if you get killed by bison, which isn't the real ending !

the real ending is... while cammy goes in the fortress to free up the other dolls, chunli and charlie destroys bison's base !

so basically neither guile, nor charlie(nash) was ever caught or killed by bison and his crew !

tho there is a manga about it and that manag from what i know differs a lot from the games... that picture above can be from the manga's which it really seems so !

This is a very interesting story...

M. Bison never killed any of the member of SFA3(he's the one ending up dieing). If you played SFA3 and beat the game with Guile,you will see that bison didn't kill Charlie, While Charlie was holding Bison for Guile to escape .once it blows up, charlie escape, it's not good to give it away that charlie still alive. They want the story to continue for Guile to search for Charlie

wasnt charlie the guy in the streetfighter movie wit van damn n all that poop. where charlie was blanka? or was turned into blanka there are so many different stories to sf the marve| collaborations have chosen to keep charlie alive by makin him into shadow ..the sf movie in person lets him blow up.. sfa3 sez showz that guile got nothing to do with and its just about charlie destrying bisons base n all that...its up to the gamer which story he wants to beleive in.

First off charlie is a joke to the Sf story line they have no real powers just pl ot get there ass kiked by thell be lucky enough to even take out vega. You obviously get to a character select screen and all you see is ryu ken or akuma to pick from, oh wow the 3 players most easy to do their moves with and basic special moves require no skill..
The reason why you dont like charlie or guile is because you cant handle holding down back or down to charge up an attack, therefore making you a sh1t player..There actually one of the best type's of attackers as firing hadukens rapidly can sometimes get you off guard.
But with their charge type you have a chance to see what your about to do next....and where the enemy may move before you release an attack.
Skill is required to play as these characters..

true, but i'm expert on gulie and charlie doing his attack, I use to be suc on this move for Charlie for PS on SFA3

Sorry guys, but Charlie is dead. SFA3, Charlies ending, is his official ending and story for those of you who do not know about it, I'll explain the story.

You see, Charlie, Chun li, and Guile (after some persuasion) decided to take down Shadaloo headquarters. While Chun li went to plant bombs around the entire headquarters, Guile and Charlie went to plant explosives on the psycho drive. Sadly, Bison predicted that, and caught them there. Upon almost killing Guile with a Psycho Crusher, Charlie grabbed Bison just before he executed the finishing move, and Guile was able to escape. Guile and Chun li were able to escape; however, Charlie went down with the base when it exploded; and Bison did survive to be able to go to Street Fighter 2. Shadow is just an MvC and MvSF fantasy; an easter egg. Like Shadow Lady.
Charlie is dead.

I feel especially sorry for Chun li, though. If there was anyone in that series that she could fall in love with, it was Charlie. Now she's doomed to live a long life without a lover.

and that doesnt mean i hate ken ryu and akuma charlie has the same hair stile as guile and junk and he has a sonic boom that is realy slow as i dont no what

Gouki, I'd like to point out to you, that shadow really isn't official. o.o; Sorry, but it's true: Guile went bye bye for good. Unless, of course, Capcom decides to pull an "M. Bison" with him, and make him not dead, but really just "sleeping" or "regaining his strength" somewhere. But that's highly doubtful, since he went boom with the entire Shadaloo complex thingy. Unlike Charlie, Bison survived because his body is... different. Too bad Bison died soon after at the hands of Akuma during SF2. Puu.
