As we all know.. one of the greatest player that ever grazed the world of soccer is the brazillian known as Pele..
Made his world cup debut when he was 17 and ended up scoring 2 fantastic goals in the finals...
But there's something not many ppl really know about him...
Like what is his real name.. Sure it's Pele.. :biggrin: But that ISN'T his real name.. IF you do know the answer post and sure your prowess with some bragging rights that you DO rule in the world of soccer :biggrin:

England won the world cup in 1966, Gary Lineker scored the most goals in world cup 1986, England didn't win the world cup, Argentina did despite lineker's 6 goals.

You need to watch the Italian Seire A atimes..
There was a time Vieri ( Christain vieri of italy and not Viera of France :biggrin: ) was in the 18 yard box, (or box 18.. whichever one.. sue me! :biggrin: ) and he tripped himself stupidly.. I mean he just twisted his leg and fell down...
Funny thing was.. he was nabbed and given a yellow card and fined! :biggrin:
But that's just the game... you do whatever it takes to win important matches.. even if it takes using your hand when you're not supposed to :biggrin:

thats why i don't watch it anymore lol i still remember coaches getting pissed off at me for not diving, then they'd bench me

if it was just one guy i wouldn't mind but it seems to me that the whole mentality is to dive when ever you can. Don't get me wrong i still love playing the sport.
